  1. So, this kid wrote/illustrated this comic/graphic novel style story back when he was in sixth grade, he was obviously kind of disturbed but had some real talent (he posts on Something Awful I guess, and found this among other "creative projects" of his from when he was younger, he's in college now)...I really don't know how to describe this other than epic, fucked up, and hilarious; it has a little bit of everything. One of the best things I've ever read; I figured at least some of my fellow OTers would appreciate the writing and humor. It's kinda long, and takes about 10 pages to start getting surreal/funny/awesome...well worth the commitment. One awesome quote to demonstrate just what kind of kid is writing this: "They died in each others' arms, after having sex."

    Without further ado: Bio Apocalypse

Okay, how the fuck do you change the title? I figured changing it to "Awesome Graphic Novel drawn by Sixth Grader" would get more attention; I edited it but it's not showing up.

  2. how about not linking to a pdf? I thought I was getting raped
  3. Holy shit, if you think that's bad, you should see the original Something Awful forum post, it's just however many images that you have to click through manually. I would've just linked to that, but they want people to pay to read old posts on their lame fucking forum, fuck that noise. I swear to god, it really is worth the effort, I wouldn't have posted it otherwise...I'm normally as lazy as anyone regarding actually reading shit posted, I almost didn't even read it in the first place. It is seriously impressive for most people, let alone a sixth grader

  4. Damn, really? I'm the only one here who got this much of a kick out of it? It just blows my mind because everywhere else on the net I've seen it, people are flipping out about how good it is (about 100 people in the original thread told him he needed to work on publishing it). I mean, it would be awesome if I drew this at my age, let alone when I was fucking 12 or 13.

  5. i'l read whenever i have spare time must be interesting if you swear its post worthy
  6. Well as you can see, I've been here at P5's for quite some time and don't post a whole lot (1600 posts in 5 years is nothing to most of these crazies), I know the OT crowd especially is hard to convince something (especially something long and in a PDF) is worth their time, but I swear it's fucking awesome. Also, if the responses elsewhere hadn't been so insanely positive I probably wouldn't have bothered.

  7. I just read the whole thing and it was pretty cool. would have been better if religion didn't save the day, but damn that's a smart kid.

Yeah, it's REALLY hard to pick a favorite part, but that was one of the best. Also: "Most scientists believed that no god would allow hundreds of trillions of innocent souls to suffer in perpetual agony; therefore, they concluded that God does not exist. A handful of scientists DID believe in God, they just thought he was a real Son of a Bitch!" (along with a picture of God flipping the bird). Also, the old mane with a cane on top of the Eiffel Tower.

Right? That's some deep shit. Like I said, this kid was obviously slightly disturbed (by his account, he was raised Christian but, obviously, was becoming very frustrated with religion at this point), but pretty funny and surprisingly smart/insightful. Sometimes it's really easy to forget just how creative and intelligent young people can be; I think that's what amazes me the most. Also, the two commandments at the end from the angel of death or whatever---didn't see that shit coming, but it was pretty poignant.
