  1. I have to say one of the worst concerts I ever went to featured Clipse and Big Tymers. They just stood around drinking and smoking being all kinds of fucked up. Super disappointing.

Don't like Wayne, but that might be the sickest rebuttal ever.

Think Jay's verse might have been more truthful though.

When I saw "Clipse," Malice didn't even show up. Pusha T was pretty ill tho.

  14. Early Sunday evening, BetOnline continued its assault on Birdman, talking trash in the best way that a sportsbook can — by releasing prop bets.
You’ve got to give BetOnline some credit for this one. These are pretty funny:
  15. If I was birdmans friends Id beg him to say he was just kidding so I can make some easy loot

meh on 2nd though I guess the props are probably capped at like 100 a bet or something

    mmk dude...

In 1997, he joined producer and DJ Mannie Fresh to form the duo Big Tymers.[3] Big Tymers debuted in 1998 with the album How Ya Luv That? and went on to release I Got That Work in 2000 and Hood Rich in 2002. I Got That Work had the hit singles "Get Your Roll On" and "#1 Stunna"; Hood Rich had "Still Fly", which was nominated for a Grammy

Oh, we'll he was in a group that had a song nominated for a Grammy. That changes everything

I'm over 35, and the only reason I knew who Birdman is was a guy who I sat next to at work had a picture of him on his desk and he lived by the motto "What Would Birdman Do?".

yes, the argument that the Big Tymers weren't popular and that a fucking 9-figure rap mogul and co-founder of one of the most popular labels of all time isn't well-known is much better...

But you already knew all that. What you want to know is how much cash money does Birdman have. Well consider this: Cash Money Records is the most commercially successful label in the history of hip-hop music with 50 million records sold and annual revenues in excess of $100 million. By the time Birdman was 22 he had already amassed a net worth of $40 million. Eventually Cash Money signed a distribution deal with Universal Music which would net the company a minimum of $30 million before a single record is even printed. But in the boldest move of all, when Cash Money signed with Universal they negotiated a deal which would allow them to own their masters, a deal that not even The Beatles ever had! So instead of getting a few pennies for every record sold the company gets several dollars of the profits generated per unit.

co-founder of the most popular labels of all time, member of a 2 man rap group that got nominated for a grammy, and on countless other hit songs doing verses or hooks = not popular. got it.
