racism puts me on life tilt, I have no idea how some of you are still alive, especially because most of the guys ITT are from the states and the USA is literally full of black pplz who have no regard for white ppl
Reason: and will fucking kill you -
Wasn't really meaning to single you out. But yeah, that caption sucks.

Do you even know what you are arguing right now lol? Go read your first post itt and come back and tell me why you aren't a fucking toolbag idiot.

I'm 42 and still waiting to meet one of these mythical creatures.

Bullshit. If I see a white guy with "WHITE POWER" tattooed on his forehead smoking cigarette butts he found in a parking lot, I'm not going to presume that he's a model citizen. If I see a black guy in a turtleneck with his wife and kid at the supermarket, I'm not going to guess that he's a gangbanger buying 40s with a welfare check. I know you really, really want me to be racist. Sorry to let you down.

I know you'll say thats not true at all and deny that. but your first post going into statistics and your overall demeanor in the post strongly suggests thats exactly what you do. cause otherwise Im not sure I see the point in you posting it. like the whole post is just an attempt to defend your stereotypes.
I certainly don't presume that anyone is a burden on society based on skin color. If someone projects themselves as a burden on society (i.e. clearly advertising gang membership with clothing), why would I presume they are doing so accidentally?
My post was a response to the "woe is me, I have to carry this burden of skin color" quote that was referenced on page 1 itt. It's ridiculous. -
whats your frame of reference????

The greatness of SR isn't in his posts. It is in the replies that his posts generate.

if ABQ died I would be like omg oh well he sucked anyway. plus his wife hated him so he probably wasn't cool to begin with.

Ok EB, it is pretty clear that you are just using "culture" as a euphemism for "race", but I'll give you the benfit of the doubt. Since you seem intent on discussing the data and completely certain that I have discounted it, why dont you provide me the source of the data you referenced in your response to DAWS. It will be interesting to statistics that break down some of the things you mentioned based on "culture" as opposed to "race".

Unless you have the cognitive ability of a toilet, you should be able to see some things. As I stated in my original post itt, blacks make up a greater portion of the prison population than the general population. The maps show a correlation between neighborhood ethnicity and violent crime. Since we know that the color of one's skin at birth isn't going to pre-determine whether or not they become a criminal, we can deduct that there are probably some underlying factors playing a role. Without going item-by-item through racial, socioeconomic and cultural factors for each resident represented on the map, I don't think it's unreasonable to say that culture plays a significant role (again, since skin color alone does not determine whether someone will become a criminal). I would also argue that socioeconomic status is strongly linked to cultural norms, but that's a different discussion.
It's not uncommon in Hispanic culture for a girl to have a Quinceanera on her 15th birthday. Does that mean only Hispanic girls turn 15? Of course not. Does it mean that every Hispanic girl has one? Of course not. If she has one, it's because of her culture, not her race. I would argue that this is a cultural norm. Although it's common for the race, it's optional and certainly not automatic.
I think that the prison stats and maps illustrate tendencies for things that are optional and not automatic. I attribute the high correlation between ethnicity and crime to culture. Since we know that the correlation isn't based on skin color (as nobody is born a criminal), I don't think that's unreasonable. -
