Just finished reading it. Has there ever been a sicker, more gruesome, diabolical book ever written?

After reading "The Road", it was so amazing, I had to read some more of his work. So I picked up BM. However, my problem w/ The Road was the ending, which i think he shouldve ended a few pages earlyer. Imo, TR wouldve been the perfect book, if it had a slightly diff ending.

BM does not have this issue. Throughout the whole book is chapter after chapter of man at his most evil, and while reading it I sat wondering how Cormac was gonna shock me/ make the ending standout, since the whole book is so brutal. Well, he did. He somehow managed to top the most sickening book eva w/ an even sicker ending.
