    European Tour's PGA championship, arguably the European Tour's biggest non-major, some call it the 5th major.

    Lee Westwood and Luke Donald in a playoff, winner is #1 in the world.

    Golf channel turn it on, exciting stuff.

    I don't know how that putt on 17 didnt go in, caught a lot of the hole with good speed, crazy how good his scrambling has been today from the 3rd hole on.

    LUUUUUUUKKKKEEE. it did seem like he would never get to number 1 the way the last few weeks have gone. lost in the playoff and then then final of the world matchplay. I think this is his 14th top 10 in his last 15 tournaments. Absolutely ridiculous

    if there is one swing and tempo i could copy out of today's players, it would be Luke Donald. I love the way he swings in control and his tempo is a thing of beauty.

    Now will the #1 ranked player this year win a major? Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood have failed so far. Yes I know we have only had 1 major but it would be nice to see the #1 ranked player actually win a major to kind of solidify themselves as the #1 player in the world!
