I've recently started to listen to alot of Bob Marley, and Damian Jr. Gong Marley ( I know, took me long enough), and i thought I'd start a thread on peoples favorite Bob marley song. Mine, as of right now, would have to be No Woman No Cry.

A bit of trivia as well
Who's this, maybe you'll find out and listen or not :-), not a big fan, just great lyrics
A Winters Day
In a deep and dark December
I am alone
Gazing from my Window to the streets below
on a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.....
I've built walls
A fortress steep and mighty, that none may penetrate
I have no need of friendship, friendship causes pain
It's laughter and it's loving I disdain

listen close, it made me think about spending too much time indoors -

i like them all. a few off the top of my head --- lively up yourself, africa unite, slave driver, kinky reggae, get up stand up, 3o'clock roadblock
-
"I am a Rock" - Simon & Garfunkel. Yeah, that fits online poker life, no doubt.

Great thread - had to bump. Hard to pick just one. No Woman and Redemption are obviously epic masterpieces, but most of my personal favorites are on Burnin': Rastman Chant is haunting, Duppy Conquerer grooves, and Small Axe is seriously inspiring. Overall, I'd say Burnin' or Uprising are my favorite albums. Even the crappy bootlegs are good. The only Marley I avoid is Legend, 'cause even though they're great songs, it's a collection of the lovey-dovey crap made only for sorority chicks when he was a serious political prophet that deserves harder listening.
And Fox is dead on - if you love Bob and want more reggae, any Tosh is mandatory (check him out on Burnin') and Black Uhuru's albums with Michael Rose and Puma Jones are key - check out the song "Great Train Robbery". And don't forget to get a copy of The Harder They Come soundtrack - the single greatest non-Bob reggae collection out there. -
Bob Marley-Legend is the greatest album of all time. I wish I would of had the chance to see him live. One of a kind.
