Its so far above any book ive ever read that its hard to not be reading it a third time right now. Im trying to space out my readings of it. But i dont know if you could overdo it reading this book. Read it twice last year.
The judge is the most chilling character ive experienced. Im working on a five foot oil painting of his crazy ass right now. -

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. This is a fantastic list, and I'm also going to take a look at the link Dbo inserted.
I've read a few books that were recommended like Choke, Hope they serve beer in Hell, and a few Alex Cross, def all good recommendations.
I think I'm going to start with this one, it sounds interesting to me.
Thanks Trajan"Germs, Guns and Steel" by Jared Diamond. Real long book but fucking fantastic. Basically answers the question: why did early europeans conquer north america and not the other way around. Great great read. Won the Pulitzer.
I really like how Pahlaniuk writes, I'm going to try Survivor as well. Thanks rayspizza.Survivor > Choke (Pahlaniuk)
After I'm done I'll refer back to this thread and keep the list going. Thanks to everyone that gave me so many great ideas! -
The Harry Bosch or Mickey Haller novels by Michael Connelly.

The Wolf of Wall Street by Jordan Belfort. It's about a young guy that started a brokerage firm in the late 1980s, early 1990s and was making 10s of millions a year while basically stealing investors money. True story (autobiography) and it was actually the idea behind the movie "Boiler Room." Scorcese is making a movie about the book with Leonardo as Jordan Belfort right now.
Also, read Unbroken. It's about a WWII veteran that is in a plane crash (during the war) and is stuck on a raft in the ocean....also a true story
