Bought a Wii for X-Mas today

    Stood in line for a good hour and a half this morning. Id say a good 200+ people in line for this thing before FutureShop opened their doors.

    Are these as hard to get everywhere else as well?

    Anyways, F christmas shopping.

    Been hard to get for awhile, though not impossible. I've bought 3 over the last year, 2 on line and 1 in the store (was at wally world and they had it so we just threw it in the cart). I think supply is being kept low on purpose, although the Wii does appeal to a much wider age range.

    and the Wii comes with intergrated WiFi.

    Yea...I got one with FPPs and it took about five weeks to get it...probably a waste of money instead of getting a bonus and using the cash in all honesty

    I got my gf one for her birthday two months ago after she hounded me for months that she wanted one. I think its been used twice.

    wii is awesome. my kids love to play guitar hero on it. i love to play sports games on it. and the wife loves to do the wii fit (and i love to watch). fun for every1.

    edit: no, they're not hard to get. but i live in the middle of nowher.

    I have no idea what the Wii Fit is... But I bought one for the gf today as well.

    Ive only played Wii twice... I love the bowling. My buddies and I will no doubt use this for drinking/gambling purposes.

    The wii fit is an exercise game. it comes w/a board that the wii uses to make sure you're not fucking up the exercises. it's also a scale. has like 18 yoga and 18 strength exercises. and some balance game. kinda fun.

    As for drinking, make sure you put on the wrist strap. safety first.

    Yeah, I hear ya about the wrist strap. The first time I played the baseball game I was a little sauced up and was pitching against a buddy... I came very very close to throwing the remote through his 40 inch TV on my first pitch.

    I buy them from a middle man for my store and I have had `15 on order for about 5 weeks. No idea when I'm going to get them. My store is next to walmart and back in October the manager told me they were holding them back for Black Friday. They had about 20 on that day and have not had any since then.

    I dont have any idea. Ever since the damn thing came out they have been near impossible to get anywhere close to me.

    I picked one up at Gamestop on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I was surprised as I figured with Black Friday, they would be out of stock. But I walked in and they had PS3's, 360's & Wii's.

    I am considering selling mine with 2 remotes, 2 nunchucks, Mario Kart (with steering wheel), Smash Bros, Mario Strikers, Mortal Kombat, Wii Play and a few downloaded games (+ internet browser) and maybe one or two other games I am forgetting about..any idea what I could get for this? Especially if I sell it soon given it is near Christmas and apparently they are hard to get

    got it fully loaded, wii sports, sports party, mario kart, wii fit, and all the controllers. We work long hours so its hard to get time/motivation to play it. It'll probably just come out when we've got friends over and we're all drunk.
