  1. I just heard he passed away. He lives a few towns over and all the musicians around are buzzing. Sad day. Was a great singer and even nicer man. RIP.

  3. Sad day for lots of friends here. Brad was a super nice man. He was in a Beatles tribute called Beatljuice that was by far the best band I've ever seen. They played the same club circuit as I do and we actually played a benefit for a cop that was killed on duty a few months back. Hung with him most of the night. He forgot his tamborine so I lent him my egg shakers and he forgot to get em back to me. He called a mutual friend the next day and apologized and told him to tell him he'd replace them. I laughed. They are $2.99 each. Just the type of guy he was.

What a voice. Google beatlejuice and hear what I mean. He did all the Beatles as well as the originals.

  4. Goddammit. About a week ago I prayed that a washed-up singer from the Boston area would bite it. I meant some guy named Devin, and instead got Brad Delp. Shit. I gotta figure out where it went wrong.

  5. Not funny Shawn. Seriously.

  9. search youtube for beatlejuice, damn they are good.
  10. That's a real shame.

It's hard to describe how big their breakout was. They went from total unknowns (at least in central Iowa) to the biggest name in rock in a very short period of time and stayed there for a surprisingly long stretch. It was the record that everybody had to have no matter what their musical taste was. Most of the attention was focused on Tom Scholz (guitarist) but Delp's voice is what caught my attention. Plus, as DJC says, he was pretty much universally described as a truly nice person.
  11. RIP
