    I'm not taking anything away from the rockies, they are a very good team. But the umps really made a shit-fest out of this game.

    hell at this rate we'll still be fighting for the division title this weekend. no matter what happens, unreal run the braves and rockies have been on to make the final week exciting (no i don't really care who's going to be the sacrificial lamb to the yankees in the 1st round).

    Apparently the Rockies got even more help from the umpiring crew on Sunday.

    Barmes' game-ending catch was apparently not a catch according to photos.



    Not that I really care, because as a Cardinals fan, I'd rather them face the Rockies than the Phillies. Just thought this was interesting. Would explain why he came up wanting to fire to 3rd base...

    This also came after Schumaker was called out on a play where he dove in a full second ahead of Tulowitzki's throw.

    doubt they photoshop pics and put them in the DENVER POST to prove we won by a bad call. ...or wouldddd they be that honest? maybe! i guess we can admit botched calls because the ump did it, not the player. i agree with your analysis tho.

    dont worry, you will be 3 games back again after tonight and this fantasy will be all but a memory and WAR can go back to worrying about whatever huge problems only happen to him.

    i hear ya...i actually put Braves in my first post when i meant Phillies.

    if ATL wins the wild card, the Cards will have to play Philly in the first round. not something i'd want.

    Rockies will play whoever has the better record between Philly/STL if they get in.

    Then the worse record between Philly/STL will play LAD on the road (most likely).

    If ATL gets in, they will play @ LAD (most likely). Then STL will face Philly.
