Haha at same time I bought breaking bad i bought first 3 seasons of dexter as well as 1st season of the wire. I have heard they are both the nuts so excited to watch them. I have seen first few episodes of dexter and am not in love with it yet but it strikes me as a show that you have to watch a lot of to really get a good understanding of the characters.

  10. Season 1 was awesome. The few episodes i saw on TV from season 2 didn't keep me interested enough to keep watching. If it's on On Demand though, will check it out.
  11. Season 2 is much better then Season 1. Season 1 was supposed to be 13 episodes but was cut short due to the writer's strike(only 7 episodes), so it's basically half a season. They never really got to finish what they started. Season 2 was damn near perfect. The last 4 episodes are pretty much as good as a TV drama can get(specifically the penultimate episode of the season). Enjoy.
  12. This show is AMAZING, you will not be disappointed unless you are inhuman

  13. was wondering how they would explain the flash fowards at Walt's house....and also wondering why they kept the girl's dad on screen so long...ending was pointless, ridiculous, and awesome at the same time

This blog post and interview with creator Vince Gilligan is a great read for anyone interested. He sums up the finale better then I can:

<span>"I imagine some of you will feel disappointed, if not outright mad, to find that none of your guesses were right -- and that all of this seems the result of an act of God.

But as Vince talks about, and as the finale makes clear, if it's an act of God, it's the act of a vengeful God who wants to make "a cosmic indictment of Walt's life choices of late." Walt has brought this on himself, not just in terms of karma, but in terms of setting in motion the chain of events that led to this crash. Walt recruited Jesse as his partner, which led to Jesse losing his grandmother's house, which led to him moving in next door to Jane. Walt is the one who pressured Jesse to expand their operation, which led to Combo's death, which led to Jesse luring Jane off the wagon, and in turn to Jane introducing Jesse to heroin. Walt is the one who, in trying to shake Jesse awake, caused Jane to roll over onto her back before she began to vomit, and he's the one who declined to save her life when given the opportunity, which in turn led to Jane's father being too consumed by grief to properly do his job as an air-traffic controller...

... which led to those two planes colliding more or less directly above Walt's pool.

This is on Walt's head, every last bit of it, and so it feels right for fiery judgment to be rained down on that head.</span>"
