I'm pretty sure there's gonna be a season 4, so Walt
-
Okay well I had a theory going that it was Gus that got shot in the end and not Gale. JEsse clearly turned his attention to someone/something else at the last second and fired.

When Gus invited Walt over for dinner that whole scene was really strange and questionable.
When Gus was talking to gale about taking over, he puts his hand on his thigh and says "I believe in you" or some gay shit.
But I guess that's not the case or Vince Gilligan is just trolling the world in this link

such a great episode, cant wait for season 4
-
This show never ceases to amaze me. Season 3's ending opens so many opportunities for Vince Gilligan and the writers to create. Was thinking the show couldn't possibly get any better after the first two seasons, surprisingly the 3rd season upped the ante and delivered the greatest yet. Dunno how in the hell Walt and Jesse are gonna survive season 4...can't wait.

Edited By: Gump47371 Jun 14th, 2010 at 07:13 AMThis video doesn't make sense. Vince is saying that it seems Walt doesn't see he is about to be eliminated, but then we realize he is ahead of us.Originally Posted by voorh33s

Didn't he realize that he was gonna be eliminated when he got rid of Gale the first time, hence why he let him go?
But yeah, great ending. Just started watching it about a month ago, caught up quick, and now it seems like forever from Sunday to Sunday. Waiting until next season is gonna seem like an eternity. -
I started watching this show like 2 weeks ago after reading a MattG post, and I had no idea the finale aired for the first time tonight. Just kinda worked out that I finished the season like 5 minutes ago. I had no idea the season was currently running and after the finale was thinking "I wonder how long till season 4" thinking that I might only have a few weeks or something. doh
Pretty epic ending

I dunno, I think Jesse shot someone else. Do we know if it has been renewed for a 4th season?
-
Yes, it has.

'Breaking Bad' Picked Up For 4th Season
AMC has closed a deal to renew Vince Gilligan's dark drama Breaking Bad for a fourth season. The network is expected to make the announcement tomorrow, following tonight's third season finale. The deal had been in the works for almost two months, after the network first notified the auspices on the Sony TV-produced series of the pickup in April. I hear the sticking issue between AMC and Sony was the budget for the upcoming season, with the network eyeing a production budget of about $3.1 million per episode, while the show's creative team was pulling for $3.3 million. After weeks of crunching numbers, I hear the two sides came to an agreement, splitting the budget gap in the middle. Breaking Bad earned two Emmys for star Bryan Cranston and a best series nomination last year. It is considered a formidable drama contender again this year, with its nomination chances boosted by the fact that its third season culminated during the Emmy voting period. -
he didn't shoot someone else
and i underestimated walt at every point during this episode. i had a feeling saul would throw a curve (i remember jesse/walt bringing saul ou to the desert in season 2) but i def didn't think walt knew that they were going to kill him and i 100% thought he sold out jesse -
Ya Jesse killed gale I think any confusion to that is unintentional. The bulk of the season is about jesse and it ended with him finally breaking bad. I love the scene in the laser tag spot where saul is freaking and walt casually mentions to jesse, I got my job back, well until they kill me.
Going to the DEA was truly their last out here and it was a viable option given the alternatives. Jesse dint have to kill gale, he could have let walt die and gone to the cops and he would have been 100% in the clear with his history with the dea. Walt is the father jesse never had, however disfunctional their relationship is. Walter loves jesse as his own son, the son he always wanted in a way. He put his ass on the line against a power he knows is overwhelming when he killed those two dealers as any good father would to save their kids life. In the end jesse who has shown to be a pretty weak player in this series finally didnt fuck everything up, and to do that he had to kill. He finally did it, he got it right and to do that he had to sacrifice any chance of getting out by shooting a defenseless man-child.
What I wonder is walt is still fucked here . How did he plan on kiling gale? he must have some means of killing a man on him as he was going to kill gale before he got picked up to gus' planned offing. Im guessing walt is somehow going to kill mike the nut in the first episode next season. -
Gus repeatedly says hes running a business because in the end if he doesnt produce hes going to get taken out by the cartel. He needed Gale to step up and take Walts position because he has far too much invested to stop making a product as he said in Gales apartment. Walt knows if he isnt alive, Gus, the PI and any men who are connected to them are ass good as dead too. Should be an epic beginning to season 4
-
They could seriously do a spin off show for Saul's character. The scene with him lining up his shot to the wall with the guy standing behind it was brilliant. I hope Walt can somehow get him on his side in the end.

Edited By: Gump47371 Jun 15th, 2010 at 02:28 AMI think this gives Walt greater leverage than ever before w/ Gus. He showed he will take out anyone that gets in his way.Originally Posted by ucantbeatthemeat

He was planning on killing Gale as soon as he was brought on as his asst for the 2nd time, because he knew Gale was being groomed to take his place. He simply got rid of him the first time, because he realized it the first time, but didn't have a reason to kill him.
Don't agree with him killing Mike, I get the impression Mike isn't 100% loyal to Gus and has a bit of a soft spot for Walt. -
So many possibilities for season 4. I think the cartel will take out Gus and his right-hand man for messin with that asian guy. The crazy ol guy will come to Walt saying he needs to take over which will allow Jesse to come back from hiding (which he will probably have to go into after killing gale). The twist will be when walts bro-in-law gets healthy and begins hunting walt and eventually figures out that walt is heisenburg. He will be conflicted bc he'll realize the paper trail of his medical payments leads back to walt and will ultimately have to let him go in some sort of highly dramatic fashion.
/series imo -
sigh I hope it doesn't /series soon

What about walt and Jesse working for that Asian guy shot in the hand? Or maybe he will play a role in being their chemical supplier next season
-
shit got real

anyone notice the two important side characters in the last episodes had meteorological names? have had "Windy" in my head since then, could be worse.
