    Personally I would love to see Sergio Garcia win this one just because he has been playing so well lately and what a great golf story that would be this year! I don't think Rory will win it as he may have too much US Open hangover going on. If Westwood can put together four consistent rounds then he will could finally win a major. Any chance an American player can win this one???

    I hope Rory does, golf needs someone to dominate the sport and he's actually likable unlike Tiger ever was. Tiger was always acting like a little bitch even before he got caught fucking every random hooker around.

    I'm with you here, I would love to see Sergio win it. I think it would be great for golf. Golf will be better with him near the top again. Doesn't a top ten at the US Open get him in there? It would be a shame if he isn't playing. For him to win though he is gonna have to find some more confidence in his putter. He still misses too many 3 to 5 footers to win a major. As far as the spitting thing, geez give him a break. Talk about carrying a grudge too far.

    sergio is in because of his 2nd at the weekend and i would love for him to win it for the same reasons as everybody else

    i like westwood's chances but he will prob finish 2nd/3rd/4th. donald obv. so many players could win this so who knows. mcdowell suits links golf and maybe even somebody random like darren clarke. he has played a lot better over the last year/18 months.

    a lot of the time the open is decided by which half of the draw gets the better weather.
