  1. When I search for something in my browser and then select on one of the options found it redirects me to something other then the page I clicked on. It seems like some kind of virus, anyone know how to fix this? Thx in advance

  2. I had the same thing on Firefox, tried several different antivirus and antimalware programs but nothing really fixed it.

I just switched to Google Chrome eventually and it hasn't been an issue.
  3. definitely a virus. wipe the hard drive and reload your OS. Consider installing deep freeze once you get back to where you want your system. glgl

  5. I had this and it was a motherfucker to get rid off. Im normally pretty proficient at getting rid of viruses but no matter what I tried I had to do a harddrive wipe and reinstall windows.

  6. You need to google redirect virus and read forums till you find a method that works. You can still visit the other websites by manually entering the URL. iirc, it takes a combination of 3 programs to clean those bad boys off. If you can't get what you need on your comp, use a friends and burn a cd. Gl.
  7. did anyone else read this as bowser problem and then get really disappointed? <3 Mario

  9. Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware

My AT&T U-verse modem resets itself (causes TV and internet to be shutdown for 1-2 minutes, highly irritating) like 4 or 5times ever night. Had guy come out to the house to re-wire everything and install new modem. Still does it, any ideas why this would happen?
