I had the same thing on Firefox, tried several different antivirus and antimalware programs but nothing really fixed it.
I just switched to Google Chrome eventually and it hasn't been an issue. -
definitely a virus. wipe the hard drive and reload your OS. Consider installing deep freeze once you get back to where you want your system. glgl

You need to google redirect virus and read forums till you find a method that works. You can still visit the other websites by manually entering the URL. iirc, it takes a combination of 3 programs to clean those bad boys off. If you can't get what you need on your comp, use a friends and burn a cd. Gl.

My AT&T U-verse modem resets itself (causes TV and internet to be shutdown for 1-2 minutes, highly irritating) like 4 or 5times ever night. Had guy come out to the house to re-wire everything and install new modem. Still does it, any ideas why this would happen? -
