Ill be there for the WSOP, looking to trade in my truck for an Audi S5.
Internet search doesn't rly help me out. Anyone have experience buying a car in Vegas or know of a good dealership?
Desert Audi or w/e it is says they only have one in stock. Im talking like a luxury car spot or something like that.
LVpokerDealer where you at? -
first off, major congrats on the recent win. Secondly, great choice if you're gonna get an S5... sick design and performance from what I've seen and read. Good luck in your search, but also consider a new BMW M3 (my favorite car) if you can't find an S5.

why does everyone win and go blow their money on a car? you can buy a fucking HOUSE out here for that right now bro
-
oh. baller
still much wiser things to do with the money... sweet ass car tho -
You're right. Tbh I want to buy a 4-plex or something. I can live in one of them, rent out the other 4 for enough to pay the entire mortgage + profit, write off any appliances I put in them, then eventually move out and do it again with another house or something.
Real estate has to get it's value back eventually right? -
regardless of income, the quickest way to busto is to pay cash for depreciating assets. invest wisely and then use the investment proceeds to pay for your luxury goods. or don't and we'll see you at the staking line at Bellagio in 4 years.

Desert Audi is a terrible dealership.

This is good advice. I plan on investing in silver and pallidium. Possibly the stock market but not with the way it is right now.

I recently bought an audi s5 and tbh they are difficult to come by. When I was looking to purchase one there were only 6 in the western united states and none with what I wanted. I ended up having to do a custom order and which ended up working out for me because the I couldn't get the interior I wanted without going through Audi Exclusives. Buy the audi wherever you are and have it shipped out to vegas. Or you can look for some used....but when spending 63-70k on a car why not get it with everything you wanted.

well if you're buying it new just price it out online and have it made - pretty retarded they only have one in stock at an audi dealership tho
-def agree with the other dudes - dunno how big ur score was but dont go buying a 70k car thats gonna be worth 50k 2 months later...i was looking at s5s/a5s when i was car searching but ended up going with a 2008 335 xi with 25k on it for 31k....new cars are def burning money -
seriously, who the fuck else rolls to the main event on a Horse? maybe get one with a hat that it's ears stick out.

Im getting a used S5. Have seen a couple on autotrader for 48-55k with a few miles on them. Im not paying cash. My truck is worth 40k and I owe just under 20 on it. So I think I can work something decent on the car.
New is out of the question btw. I wouldnt want to spend the MSRP of a brand new one anyway. Maybe Ill wait a while longer until the prices drop some more.
Or just ship some more tourneys in vegas or something. Easy enough. -
the s5 holds it's value pretty well, so you won't see the prices drop anytime soon. Also most people have been buying used recently causing the values of used cars to go up. Good luck finding what you want.

Invest in income producing property in a college town. Colleges, especially large state schools, aren't going anywhere.

I bought a space gray metallic BMW 335i with 9k miles on it for 35k and the guy who bought it new paid 50k. It's an awesome car if you end up not going with the Audi S5.

It's a great car, it's not my daily driver though. It's pretty much all you could ever ask for from a german sports car, handles great etc. Audi announced a few months ago that they will be making the rs5 but not sure if it will be available in the US...but it looks pretty sick.

yeh got an 08 black 6 spd with nav for 30,750 - looked at a5 cuz i didnt wanna spend 45-50 on the s5 but they were slow - s5 though def owns 335xi in every way possible
