    Since it won't affect their insurance, it's not cost effective for them to fight it. The ticket was $220, and flights cost that much. I just have never heard of anything like it. I thought they were joking when they initially told me lol

    They don't have that in the NE, none of us have even heard of it before and we all went to college in different states-obviously not in the part of the country that does this.

    Hey tsxxx I was just wondering if you ever heard that in some parts of the country planes clock your speed? Not making it clear enough for me.

    Dear, every state in the country uses aircraft to clock speeders. It isn't used all that often because it is expensive. The use of the planes and their formulas for speed determination have been upheld in court numerous, numerous times.

    well, it definitely isn't used around here. Considering the amount of highway patrol used, it would be ridiculous to use that as well.

    Oh, and if you had ANY reading comprehension abilities, I don't smoke weed anymore, my car is purchased, and I didn't get clocked doing anything I have never gotten a speeding ticket in my life. Maybe you should go back to school, cuz you clearly can't read.

    I'm not questioning whether they have this, but during rush hour they literally have cops standing on the side of the road with a radar gun clocking people. If you saw how much manpower is used just for highway patrol around here, you'd laugh. It's amazing that they continuously are raising taxes to pay for things when they pull 4-5 people over at a time.

    LOL me either which is why I always drive when I'm with her. If we are taking her car, she auto hands me the keys if we are going anywhere not super local.
