    Due to a crazy year (work, kids ...) I haven't been able to go to A.C. in a while but I'm planning on going next week . I use to play at the Trop 1 weekend every month . I just called to book a room for next week and this is what happened .

    Me: Hi , I'd like to book 2 nights at poker rate
    Trop guy : Sorry , but due to your recent inactivity you don't qualify for poker rate .
    Me: Wow, really I use to play there all the time and have never been turned down , are there rooms available ?
    Trop: Yes , we just can't give you poker rate , although I do show in the computer that you do qualify for 2 free nights on the 24, 25, 26, 27,or 28 .
    Me: So your saying I don't qualify to pay for my rooms , but you will give them to me for free
    Trop: Yes , sir thats what the computer says .

    Seriously take your head out of your ass , stop looking at the computer screen and think for about 2 minutes .

    you, like just about everyone, wants to go on the weekend. = you pay $

    the 'computer' wants you to go when most do not, which is Sun - Thur. = you get a free room

    The hookers who need $ for some crack wants you to come any day of the week = $20

    It's strange how it just seems like people can try not to think...

    called information and asked for the number for "Tom Wooten". She says, "I'm sorry I don't have that listing, but I do have a Thomas Wooten". Ummm, yeah, let's gamble and try that one

    I didn't try for a weekend I asked for wed and thurs (20th and 21st) and this is when he told me I didn't qualify but if I waited a week (24th-28th) it would be comped . I'm bringing my wife ,who needs money for slots , so it should cost me well over $20 to get laid .

    It's pretty standard.

    You don't have an avg sit-time of 4 hrs/day at the tables. Therefore, you don't qualify for their poker rate, which is a significant discount over their standard weekend rates.

    However, you have earned some free weeknights.

    It's not standard . I didn't show up in the computer due to no recent activity (I only play poker) . So how is it possible I qualify for 2 free nights . I also requested weeknights when I first called .

    Lets say you owned a business and sold a product for $100 . Someone calls you and offers $60 for your product . Would you tell him "No , sir I'm sorry you don't qualify to buy that for $60 , you only qualify to get it for free ".
