  1. They never produce when they're given respect.

    Thx.
  2. If you're suggesting Drake is going to lose, please come revisit this post in an hour. Sometimes, you're posts make me scratch my head.

  10. Like Xavier?
  11. Wouldnt call the A-10 a mid major but ok. And Xavier has been a great tourney team in recent years.

  12. a mid major beat another mid major, so whats your fucking point.
  13. The fact the he said "high seed" in his original post.

    That's his fuckin' point.

  14. cosign
  15. drake is soooooooo good
  16. I guarded the Ty Rodgers kid in HS, he was a freshmen and I was a senior but he only had 15 pts that night and he averaged like 30 for the year.... WOOT WOOOT me
  17. Mother fucking Drake.

This is why I hate putting money on NCAA Bracket Pools. Because when you have a team like Drake advancing to the Sweet 16 - a team you never have and never will give two shits about - you get all worked up when they lose.

I should've known not to pick a team based on snack cakes...

  18. there's some crazy stat that Gonzaga has never made it to the sweet sixteen or further or something unless it's been a double-digit seed. haha maybe they need that feeling of being a 'cinderella' to go deep. and the A-10 is sort of an in-between type conference and has a great tournament record lately
  19. Yeah, but those are damn good coffee cakes. I had them going to the sweet 16 as well, fuck miracle 3s.

  20. anytime Ty puts the ball up its not a miracle, the kid is lights out from behind the arch
  21. Yeah there is something def to that....When they get seeded high, there is now pressure to perform. When they're a 11 or 12 seed, no one gives a F what they do. All house money. Having said all that, Drake def showed some heart coming back.

They were in the sweet 16 two years ago as a 3 seed and they were a major collapse vs UCLA away from being in the elite 8. And up until last year they made it past the first round of the tourney 7 out of 8 years.
  24. They certainly lost a huge edge when the NCAA made the new requirements for the NBA, having a bunch of 3rd and 4th year starters against some of the top programs more talented 1st-4th year starters really gave them a chance in the tourney.
  25. Having the mid majors, as well as conference/conference tournament champions in the tournament make it what it is, high seeded or not. It would not be nearly as much fun to watch if there was an arbitrary bullshit BCS type imaginary line drawn at some level to exclude these teams.

Where they are seeded is of small consequence. They still must win to advance and after the first round, whoever plays is usually pretty good or at least playing well at the time.

    Go Creighton!!!!!!
    Next year maybe.
