    I have seen where you can put your pictures up have names attached to each person in the photo.

    Does this only work if you yourself have a FB account?

    Basically I wanna know if the pictures on there of me are findable with my name, if I do not have an account

    I dont think people tag unless you are on facebook. All the photos ive seen only have peoples names who are on facebook and nothing for the others

    I've seen a bunch of people "tagged" not on facebook and their names are just in black letters b/c they don't have facebook.

    It happens all the time.

    they aren't gonna be able to search find you. facebook search only searches for facebook users.

    Has to be someone they are friends with tho, and even then they can't search your name or anything.

    This just means that a mutual friend was looking through said pictures and say you first hand. They did not go searching for you. You just happened to be in pictures of a friend that are on facebook.

    No you can't...your name will just be black and not hyperlinked.

    As others have said, only facebook users can be searched.

    Your name can appear under the picture, but nobody will be able to look at your non-existent facebook account.

    Your name can be "tagged" in the photo but like an above poster said, your name won't be hyperlinked like the people who do have facebook accounts. I joined facebook a couple of years ago and I was already tagged in a few photos that my friends had posted before I became a member.
