not sure if it is a battery issure or not, but if it isn't and I try jumping my car when my battery already has juice is this a terrible thing or does it just tell me that that's not the issue
Edited By: DOITDEALER May 12th, 2011 at 06:35 PM
edit.. it was just the battery
Reason: OTers are wrong -
what happens when you turn the key? does it rev at all?
ps. plattsburgh reference, etc. -
is it clicking? no noise? lights come on in the dash?
make/model/year...
cmon man... and no, putting jumpers on a car will not hurt a car with a good battery... -
seems like you might need to put your mouth around the tail pipe once you getting it running.
-
just make sure you put red on black and black on red when you jump it off

does the radio work?
-
try jumping it and see what happens. serious answer btw. but yeah sounds like alternator. if you jump it and it starts, drive for a while (obv no radio, lights etc) preferably freeway and see if it starts again on its own when you get home.
you can also get a tester (pretty cheap) to test the alternator and also see how much juice the battery has -
yes it is...
-
have you tried hitting it?
-
get a couple peeps to run ya and pop the clutch, then drive it to the mechanic...
-
could be a starter too right?
-
Turn the lights off. When the jumper cables are hooked up, start the other car, let it run for a bit then try starting your car. If it still won't start move the cables around to make sure they are making a good connection (on both cars). If that doesn't work then you suck and should get it towed to a repair shop. If you need to know what shop to take it to use google.

did you check the space time continuum in the console?
-
okay, it was the flux capacitor... everything is all set thanks guys
-
in the '06 it's always the whootinanny
-

-
no no no... its the mr fusion.... happens all the time... you probably have a banana peel lodged in there somewhere... just take a coat hanger and plunge it free.

Your drivers side door gasket is loose.
-
Sounds like you should check the specs for the endline on the rotary girder.
