  1. i just spent 20 minutes looking through sites on google for my question and then thought, hell someone at OT should know about this. i'm looking to buy white halogen/LED headlights for my car (98 eclipse gst if that matters). i have a pretty good cd player and usually have my ipod hooked up....so i was wondering if the headlights will drain too much of the battery on top of the cdplayer/ipod. also, if anyone knows a good model or type to get, or the differences between halogen and LED, any help is appreciated!

  6. You're easily fine battery wise. They won't drain that much power (I worked in car stereo department @ Circuit city during high school). If you had an amp and subs hooked up, that's one thing, but a cd player and ipod are miniscule.
  7. i think LEDs pull less power than Halogens. I don't understand the problem though. Do you keep your headlights on when you are parked and the engine is off or something?
  8. LED's use quite a bit less power than halogens. Unless you leave your lights on hours at a time with the car off, you'll have no problem running a cd player, ipod, etc. all at once.
  9. Do what I do. Go to the auto parts store, smile pretty, making sure to wear a deep cut blouse. Then tell them you're confused. Not only will they sell you the best stuff, sometimes at a discount, but they will also install it for free.
