  5. That's an awesome cat, but wtf? Is it normal to just hang around 2 gators like that all relaxed?
  6. not as impressive as a 'gator. . .but we had a cat, when i was growing up in WI, that would keep the deer away from the bird bath. . .

thats what i was thinking. dude messing around with the boat didn't seem to give a fuck that there were two alligators around him. is this normal in the south?
  8. I don't have kids but if I ever did I don't think them hanging around two alligators at a camp site would be part of their upbringing. May-be I'm just overprotective.
  9. Being from Canada I can't understand why everyone wasn't screaming and running.

    Anyone seen lake placid? fuck
  10. when i was in high school we used to go out on my friends uncles boat. he had one of those big flashlights, and you run the light across the water, you can see the gators sittin up on the water getting air, because when the light hits them their eyes are red. he would turn of the engine to the boat and we would paddle up on the gator from behind and his uncle would hang over the bow of the boat, grab the gator by the mouth (very quickly) and pull the gator out of the water. he never did this with over 4' gators but he did this on the reg and just kind of got a kick out of it...

  11. doesn't seem like that would end well

    Thinking the same thing.
  13. i mean in florida its tough to find freshwater where there arent gators

  14. For one, the gators appear to be very young. But that doesn't typically matter. It appears to be an RV park or campground. The gators probably frequent the area because the tourists feed them and whatnot. So they have probably been desensitized by the presence of humans and other animals. The cat was just relying on instinct. Had the gators followed suit, they would have had a nice little snack. Makes for a great video.

And for the northerners that are asking if this is normal. NO it's not. Any other wild gator would have snatched both those cats, and maybe that boy too. And still would be hungry.
