    LOL Las Vegas/Clark County sure loves their paperwork. Some of you may or may not know this but I am a ordained minister. I did this so that a few of my friends who had kids and were previously divorced could be remarried since their respective churches refused to let them get married again in the church. I have preformed 6 marriages and a few "commitment" ceremonies.

    I decided I would find out what it takes to do this in Vegas and wow they sure do love their paperwork. I have to get a "Certificate for Permission" to do legal ceremonies in L.V. Triplicate this duplicate that. It's a 7 page application and alot of questions about Child Support and such.

    I also have to fax the appropiate paperwork back to the church so they could prove that I am in good standing with the church and also to "Notorize" the paperwork.

    Well I am going to get it done since I could always do a marriage 24/7 then.

    Once Its all done (5-7 days) should I make a website?

    My wife and I had a friend of ours get ordained to perform our ceremony. It is a surprisingly easy process in NY.

    Yeah thats the funny thing. Back in Pa all I had to do was ship a copy of my Licence and that was it.

    I would imagine it cuts down on the crack-pot wedding houses, LV wouldnt want to have two church of the uss enterprise' (actually on my sister inlaws marriage cert.)

    Actually no you cant just do it on the drop of a dime. They only issue licences during specific hours now. And the Wedding chapels are not open 24hours. Since I wont actually be affliated with any of them I could do a ceremony any time day or night.
