I did a shitty search, and came up empty on these... but I have been using Golfnow dot com and ezlinks dot com to book tee times this year and have really been able to save some dough. I know this may seem like an ad, but I don't think I have paid more then $25 bucks for 18 and a cart yet. For those that like the $100+ a round courses, they have some of them too in the $50-$80 a round range.

They now have these hot deals where I may get out for 13-15 bucks for 18 and a cart. Are golf courses taking a beating lately and just hope you spend another $20 on food and beverage or what? -
Depending on your location in the USA, golf rates actually drop during the summer due to heat. Here in AZ a lot of the golf courses drop their rates to try and get people to golf in 100+ degree heat and then starting around Oct, they increase their rates as the snow birds start to head towards this way.
Occassionally I can find a deal to golf at an average municiple (city owned) golf course for around 40 which includes cart during winter months with looking on the net for some deals.
If you live in a state that you can only golf say 6 months or so out of the year, those kind of deals can be pretty sweet. -
Yeah, in Minneapolis we get about 6-7 months in a good year to play. March/April to October/November.
I am more just shocked that you can play for under 20 bucks with a cart. If you call them to make a reservation directly, you certainly wouldn't think a deal like that could be had. -
Golfnow is unreal. It's the same way in St. Louis area (where I usually am in the Summer), most courses it's 40-50 with cart, but golfnow gets you for 20-30
