    I need to ship a box that weighs 15lbs from cali to arizona. anyone know what the cheapest way is? post office, ups, fedex?

    post office wants 36 bucks for 7 day mail.

    The postage is $10.35 each direction {$ 13.45 if you must use the larger 12" x 12" box.)(plus $500 maximum insurance coverage which adds about $1.25 per $100 of value to price if you elect to insure)... [photos below...]
    ...The Postal service says this is a 2/3 day travel time service and I believe they count Saturday, which is quite fast, and for the price, excellent.
    ...There is a "signature required" optional service (another $ 1.35) but I do not recommend this as the postman must find me to get a signature before he can leave it; and as I am usually out working in my workshop and can not hear the door bell there, this can add an extra two or three days to the actual delivery time.
    ...To use this "Flat rate box" service, you must ship your package in their box, which they give your free at your local post office.
