    Saw chia seeds get used as a "basket" ingredient in an episode of Chopped the other night. Does that make it a legit food?

    yea i read OP and instanty thought of what dyzalot posted

    when i saw the ingredient was chia seeds i was like hmmmm, weird ass seed or is it actually the stuff from chia pets lol

    pretty sure they are one of main foods eaten by the indian tribe that is talked about in "born to run". those people like never get cancer and can run like 100miles at the age of 60+.

    i've eaten chia seeds.
