Holy fuck, didn't know it was PI if someone grabs you around the shoulders and throws you to the ground
-
NFL refs are the absolute worst...2 Weeks in a row K.C. gets fucked over by bullshit P.I. calls.
-
that was the worst fucking call in the world, wtf???
-
D-Boweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
OMFG Again?????
this is such a joke -
FFS this is ridiculous...NFL can suck my penix
-
Dear refs,
lick my sack -
i wish some non chiefs fans were watching this game so they would know were not just being butthurt homers bitching about the refs
-
meh, i can see the reason for throwing that 2nd 1, that 1st call was absolute trash tho
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee -
I am literaly shocked they didn't call Pass Interfernce...Ya know since we intercepted it and didn't give the offense a chance to catch the ball.
-
I've been really tentative to getting my hopes up with this team. This year I was expecting a big improvement from 2009/10, but no playoff appearance.
But after 3 good wins, 2 well played loses, and this win, I can't help but get pretty excited. Can we call this a "real" team yet? Or do we still have a few more wait and see "who we are" weeks?? -
- holy jesus batman cosign on back-to-back weeks where the zebras were absolutely brutal to us
- can't say enough about the job the OLine has done so far both in run and pass blocking
- charles/jones are beasts and great to see Bowe step it up the past 2 weeks but we need chambers back and to be productive
- another solid turnover free game from Cassel. what i really liked the most was at the end of the game when battle scored the last td. he took a cheap shot from a DLineman and there was some pushing and shoving. Cassel was the 1st guy to jump in the scrum and had to be removed by one of his teammates. he's not going to be an elite NFL QB but this guy is a leader, and this team has the perfect blend of veteran leadership and young talent about to hit their prime for us to be a force for the forseeable future
- Haley is the Les Miles of the NFL. I love the aggression but that 4th down call today was over the top. take the points ffs
- defense was brutal in the 1st half but made their adjustments...still really concerned about the lack of pass rush outside of Hali...the secondary has done a good job of hiding the deficiencies in our pass rush but it's going to catch up to us when we play denver and san diego
- all in all, GREAT WIN! 2.5 game lead over the chargers, and buffalo next week, so hopefully we can extend it...love this team and what they're doing -
I had not been happy with Cassel at all, but I am coming around on him. He has been pretty decent as of late.

All we need is like 1 or 2 more wins and we will def be a lock to win the West, since the rest of those clowns have no chance of getting to 6 wins. That's so sad, but fuck it.

They covered, who cares.

I've always liked you Fenwayking. When it comes to the Chiefs though, you turn into superdouche. I know you're a donkey fan & all, but holy shit, give some credit where credit's due. KC has turned into a soild team this year.

Reason: Tebow rapes kittens & kicks puppies, btw. -
I love KC's defense. Crennel has them playing great. Charles is a monster and their running game/special teams is solid. I was really impressed with the way they played in that Indy game, but what did it come down to? Cassel couldn't make a lot of important throws when he had to (and of course Bowe dropped the only good one he made).

They're a good football team for the most part, but having a QB like Cassel hurts them against the elite teams of the AFC. I certainly can't see them winning a road game against any of those teams and even a home game against Pitt/NE/NYJ/Ind is most likely a loss.
Not trying to be a douche, just think Cassel is the ultimate fatal flaw of that team -
seemed like mccluster was shaken up towards the end of the game....they sayin anything about it in the news up there?
-
Trust me. I had this conversation with astaggs one day and we almost went into throwdown mode over it. I generally have felt this exact way about Cassel. I said something like, "I feel this team is almost ready to compete in the playoffs, but I think Cassel holds us back."

I have reversed field a little bit lately though. I know its only 2 weeks, but he has been pretty solid in those two weeks. -
Edited By: FenwayKing Oct 25th, 2010 at 05:37 PMHe has played better the last two weeks but Jacksonville and Houston are both bottom 5 in passing defense in the league with Houston having the worst. Jacksonville is a joke and I thought KC -9 was the second best bet of the weekend after Seattle.Originally Posted by TiltinShoes

I know he's played well in the last 2 weeks but it's against the best of circumstances; he's still Matt Cassel and once you start playing better defenses, he's going to revert to his true form: somewhere between the 20th-25th best QB in the league, incapable of going vertical with the football, and erratic with his accuracy when not checking down.
On the bright side, I think his contract is up after this year (?) so you may be able to upgrade at the position in the offseason. Maybe frame Orton for a DUI and watch Joshy McD trade him to make sure the Broncos are the most Christian football team in the NFL? -
Yea, I still have some concerns about him. I just hope that he is progressing some.

Also, ef Orton. I say we try to work out a deal for Timmy T!!!!! -
These last two games have deflated some of my dislike for Cassel, but he's clearly not anything more than a mediocre, but serviceable quarterback. He's a great team leader, but you have to be able to play well against tougher defenses than Houston and Jacksonville to be considered anything other than mediocre.
-
I noticed that, and it was sfawesome to see a QB get after it like that. KC is a true TEAM this year.
