Just tweeted a thank you to the Miami Heat organization and players, followed by a second tweet that simply said "on the move again"
WTF
Read this somewhere too...
According to a Miami Heat insider, Chris Bosh may be getting traded. The snitch revealed to mediatakeout, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and team president Pat Riley have held meetings about trading Bosh. The insider claims Chris Bosh is furious and blames Lebron James and Dwyane Wade. -
would be awesome. gotta deal bosh to make room for dwight. but the nba is locked out right? so none of this can happen, yet?

Nothing will happen for a long time. Might not even be a season next year.
-
That's what I was thinking. Can't do a trade during a lock out.
-
who the hell wants to take him on at that contract, lol
-
Not at all surprising. Goes in thinking he's one of the "big 3", gets there and finds himself sitting at the kids' table.
-
Bosh is the only one i liked
-
I heard on some sports radio show that Bosh had his bachelor party and Dwayne and Lebron didn't go. That would make sense if the OP is accurate.
It would be easy to deal Bosh since he took so much less money to go to Miami. He would have been a max guy so teams will be lining up to pick him up at a discount. -
I really have no clue how the nba operates salary cap wise, but they were just discussing the lockout on OTL and they were discussing implementing a hard cap. wouldn't moving him once there's a new agreement in place hurt them a lot since they wouldn't be able to add on whoever they wanted in his place
-
I agree. I hated him in the offseason because like said above he felt as if he was in the same league as Lebron and Wade and made a whole spectacle out of free agency. Since then I have read multiple things about how nice of a guy he is and when some people want to bash him for crying I actually see it different and respect him for caring that much.
Bron and Wade are the villains and Bosh and the rest of the Miami squad get labeled villains by association. I actually think Bosh is probably one of the good guys in the league he just got carried away in the offseason. -
This only makes sense if they are a) packaging him for howard b) can't afford him under a new hard cap system

I don't believe the op fwiw -
First off the new agreement (whenever the hell it comes) can have a million different looks so no one really knows. One thing that's pretty certain is that there aren't going to be many if any teams able to take on his salary without dumping close to the same amount. Also depending again on the agreement there may be a rule that the traded salaries have to be within a certain percentage of each other to even make the trade. Right now it's 125% (unless one team is under the cap) and players are pushing to make it 250%. So basically who knows what will happen but pretty much if Bosh is gone they will have someone or multiple players in his place by trade.

I'm going to be real curious to see what sort of grandfathering or lead in period there will be if there's a new hard cap. The owners want a hard cap of 45 million. What the hell are teams like Orlando, Miami, New york, Chicago, LA etc going to do with their current contracts that easily exceed that number?
It's a mess, buckle up. -
If he took less money and didnt get a no trade clause then he is a moron.
-
was half hoping to open this thread and see he killed himself, maybe next time.

You goofballs need to actually go read his twitter account.

He said this
chrisbosh And a special thank you to all of our fans who supported us this year. We couldn't do it without you!

Did he have a follow-up tweet that said "on the move again"?

Not that it matters, as that could mean a million different things on Twitter...he could be going on vacation, buying a new house, etc. etc. -
Edited By: dolphin13 Jul 1st, 2011 at 11:47 PMyeah. I'm not sure but I think it could be in reference to him going to a gala tonight, that his fiance is hosting. That would be my guess.Originally Posted by JRoth15

If he thought he was just traded or going to be traded he wouldn't be referring to the Miami heat fans as "our fans" -
I'm wrong on the gala part though. that's from November. He hadn't posted since then. Here are his posts for today.

yah doesn't make much sense to thank all of his teammates...then thank all of their fans...then say bye 2 minutes later.
did they have end-of-season meetings this week or something? -
the problem is that no NBA team can do anything right now. There are no trades. You aren't allowed to talk to any player. They actually took all players pic off every NBA team site.

And there will be no resolution to this lockout for quite some time. The two sides are much further apart than the NFL -
who the fuck is chris bosh?
-
well, he isn't on the move anymore

oh shit OP, that means he's partying with his new team, the lakers! or....something totally different and plausible
-
this There was some talk by the "experts" after game 6 that bosh would be the one to go doubt that solves the problem of lebron leaving his game with his hair in Cleveland

for some reason i don't think that Dwight ends up in Miami If he goes free agent, I kind of see him in NY w the knicks or LA
of course there may never be nba basketball again or the new cba and/or cap may make all of this impossible or irrelevant
