    i just read his Santaland Diaries about his stint as a Christmas elf at Macy's. Haven't laughed out loud from a book like that in awhile. He's awesome.

    hi seykota! i would travel to paris...b/c i've always wanted to have christmas in paris...i just think it would be so romantic and pretty. <3 oh, but if i was going for warm...i would do st. martin. :)

    Since you're not looking for anything christmasy I think you should just get whatever best deal you can get. Though Peru and Brazil are on top of my travel list, the Caribbean is probably a safe bet for an awesome holiday. Isn't it a bit late though? I'm sure prices are through the roof by now...

    We're gonna visit my family who just moved to Dubai, then go to Jordan for xmas. Warm places too :).

    Bekbek <3 Paris is what I originally booked tickets for then changed to Belize for warmth. I may switch back.

    Have a good trip and let me know how it is! I can change my flights any time and get good deals on flying, so pretty much just need to find a hotel deal or crash with a friend. I'll hit the M.E. in the future. My boss just got back from Egypt (although technically Africa and said he had a good time). Brazil, I'm probably doing with some friends next year so holding off. Looked at Buenos Aires since it's summer there, but I've been to Chile and just got back from Colombia so trying to stay clear of S. America this time. I may brave the cold and take up Beki's recommendation.

    Will do! I more or less know what to expect of Dubai, but Jordan's gonna be quite exciting. You have to visit Egypt one day, and not just Cairo. I've lived there for a bit so def let me know for some pointers when you decide to go. This also goes for anyone in OT obv.

    And lol, I can never understand females' obsession with Paris. I only go there for the Disney World :P. But as all women do, I'm sure you'll have a good time there despite the cold.
