Spoiler* the only part that didnt fit was when he said hes.the apex and then attacks his.cousin, doesnt really fit with how he desribed.not feeling bad about squashing bugs, overall 3 outta 4 for me -
it just looks so stupid in the preview.
altho i guess drive was good -
thought the preview was awesome and I don't care much for superhero movies. This is great news.
-
I enjoyed it quite a bit.
But just like a horror movie the *blank* has to die first. -
pretty good. the grey+ buried it tho.
-
they.got away with.the handheld better.than all the others tho, cloverfield was.way.too shaky
-
It's because they established early on how the camera could be stand-alone at any time.
-
Spoiler*
Hes on a tripod in the beginning and when hes moving its just walking. Then basically the rest of the movie isnt handheld nothing like blair witch.or cloverfield -
Also, it's always a clean vantage point and it has none of those shitty quick edits to try and add speed to the scene. People who compare it to cloverfield/blair witch/etc were just being lazy reviewers.

So much of it wasn't really explained or justified but it was OK, 3.5/5
