    if fantasy football was just offensive units like it is defensive units, u would have to select the begals offense 2nd overall behind the colts

    #2 offense in the league? I guess you are forgetting Pittsburgh and baltimore are in the same division. They wont even be top 5 offense in the league let alone #2!!!!!!!! take off the bengal printed thinking cap and recognize real.

    Carson Palmer's last 3 games last year before he got hurt.

    58 pts vs Browns. Not the greatest D but I don't think Peyton put up 58 last year. Palmer 250+ Rudi 200+ CJ 100+

    27-26 Win over Baltimore, in Baltimore including 24 in 4th against that D. Palmer 382. TJ 171, CJ 161. 24 in the 4th in Baltimore, are you kidding me?

    27 vs NE at Gillette. Palmer got hurt in 3rd but still put up over 200. TJ 12 for 145.

    27 in back to back weeks against arguably the 2 best Defenses in the league, ON THE ROAD.

    Check the facts first, The Jungle is alive this year.

    trues check the facts? I think everything I said is/was facts PITT AND BALTIMORE ARE THE BEST DEFENSES IN THAT DIVISION IF NOT THE WHOLE LEAGUE.

    you put up some good games, care to put up who they lost to? and palmers stats in those ones?

    bengals=good offense, top 5 is pushing it....defense=horrible.

    last word, as long as Pitt and B'more are in that division look for the bUngals to go 7-9/6-10

    First word, the Who Deys went 8-8 the past 2 years with Pitt and Baltimore in the division, so that was a foolish statement. They went 8-8 last year with basically a rookie starting at QB, a RB who was in his first full year as a starter, and a rookie at FB and one on the OL, not to mention a young defense. Fact is, Cincy had a young team and still went .500 2 straight years, they can only get better with experience.

    You sound like you are just trying to argue, b/c your facts aren't holding up. Defense is not horrible. Might not be the best defense, but 19th in the league is far from horrible.

    My point was that Palmer was a rookie and he came up HUGE in his last 3 games, which were only his 12th-14th games starting. He did have worse games earlier in the season, but if you watched him in his last 3 games he was a totally different QB.

    I don't care if Pitt and Baltimore are the best defenses in the league. What does that have to do with Cincy's offense? Wait and see, don't be another fan who says the Bungals were bad for the last 15 years, they will continue to be bad. Watch a couple games and know what you are talking about first.

    I remember taking Palmer as my #1 QB in my fantasy league, the looks went from smirks and catcalls to the realization that he's going to have a ginormous year.

    trues, this highpowered offense that bungals have made me do some research. Their highpowered offense was only 19th in the league in total offense....dont get me wrong thats not bad at all but it is no wheres near top 5 or "deadly".

    Another year or 2 with some key trades and aquisitions they will have a shot. This year I think they will beat expectations but by no means make the superbowl or pose a serious threat in thier division. 06-07 and 07-08 I think were are going to be looking at serious serious team in Cincy.

    I didn't say they would put up the second best numbers or have the 2nd most yards per game. I said they have the 2nd best offense (although probably 3rd behind KC as well). Playing Baltimore and Pitt may make their stats lower, but that doesn't make them a worse offense. I am not hyping them and saying they are gonna win the Super Bowl. I am not saying they are gonna win the AFC. I am saying that they have a top 3 offense(said top 2 but forgot all about KC). They will compete for the division and finish ahead of Pittsburgh.

    2 years ago they were in the hunt going into week 17 and they have gotten much better since then. We can only wait and see, but I will back here after Week 1 and on and on after they show up to play.
