Indians are as real as Grady Sizemore staying off the DL.

It’s old news by now, but this past weekend the Cleveland Indians made some history by drawing the smallest crowds in Pogressive Field history. After the perfunctory sell-out on Opening Day, the attendance on Saturday was below 10,000. On Sunday, it was below 9,000. -
the rays have been known to have great attendance #'s

I'm from Detroit, moved down last year. You are correct, Tampa is a pitiful sports town.

after all, as a Cubs fan this is all you have.
what does this have to do with the Indians?
Indians are notorious for having fairweather fans. Record # of sellouts in the 90's to having the worst attendance in recent years. Now that they are playing well, the seats will fill. I do my part and try to go to 10-15 games a year but it's irritating to have such a shitty fanbase, i'll admit. -
Edited By: TheWacoKidd Apr 18th, 2011 at 10:37 PMoh shit, didn't even notice his location said Tampa now. I just auto-associate him with Detroit Tigers. I see nowOriginally Posted by Hallettcopta

and it's not just the Indians that have that problem... very few fan bases fill it up when the team isn't winning, it's pretty rare -
Let us know when they get to 12 wins.

Go Rockies!!
Reason: not deserving of its own thread this early. obv -
lol at the AL central being the inverse of what most people predicted

Some dude on baseball tonight said we were championship contenders and its only april. Last time someone said that about us was Golic and we lost ~ 100 games.
Let the freefall begin -
As a Certified, card-carrying OT troll, I have an overwhelming urge to cast aspersions at the Indians and question the intelligence and ancestry of their pathetic, fair-weather fans, but I'm going to rise above simple, carnal pleasure and offer congrats to the team and a thumbs-up to you Cleveland fans.
Itis only right fate bestow at least a little ray of sunshine into your abysmally hopeless lives, at least until the All Star Break. lulz. I would personally like for the Braves to meet the Indians in the WS this year. ESPN could do some sort of tribute to native Americans as part of the pre-series hoopla. Maybe with a big WS share, Asdrubal Cabrera could afford to purchase a less-ghey first name.
