Damn, At the Mother fucking Drive in and explosions in the sky. I will probably go, plus the electronic line up is nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
-
Yeah, waay more edm than years past
-
The Black Keys as a headliner though? They were second billing last year
-
Yeah looks like two sick trance, dupstep and Electro acts each day.

No single act would make me want to go buts its just super super solid from top to bottom. I doubt I'll go this year but going to Coachella is definitely on the bucket list.
Last year was my first time there and it was a blast. I prolly can't afford to go back this time. But you definitely should if you get the chance -
Im not trying to be completely negative all the time, but i wouldnt want to see one single show in all of this, which is probably amazing (would maybe see snoop dogg and dre for old times sake) (saw up in smoke tour years ago, but i dont smoke weed anymore so im not sure if it would be a good time if ur not high)

There are some awesome people there. If anyone goes make sure you dont miss Kasabian
-
why would you even post this itt?

I'm proud of myself for recognizing 11 of the acts. Didn't even know Dre was open to doing live performances. Has he done anything since his one song act at the VMA's or whatever it was?

What if Detox somehow drops right before? Won't be holding my breath obv
-
I counted 49 acts that I would definitely go see and 20 that I have already seen. Really excited for this one.
-
Day 1 is Wolf Gang Wolfgang Gartner? Total blueballs if not, but the lineup still looks really good.

Edited By: Z-Fresh Jan 10th, 2012 at 12:32 AMWell, it's a discussion about Cochella so whether you view the line up as good or bad is worth posting about.why would you even post this itt?
Compared to other lineups in the past it's pretty weak imo for the kind of music I like. There are a few bands I would see solo but as an over all lineup it doesn't seem worth the money.
EDIT: Jimmy Cliff and Tim Armstrong are playing together? Is that the same Armstrong from Operation Ivy and Racid? If so, that would worth seeing. I'm curious hear what they play together. -
Very nice. Would love to see The Rolling Stones too, obv

Yeah, I suppose so.. I'd rather see something different in the top spot since they played the festival last year

Most obvious brag post ever :)
I wonder if a lot of the acts are going to be playing during week in between. Used to be prohibited afaik, but maybe it's different w/ two weeks -
I just don't see the point of going into a thread that has zero interest to you, and then being negative about it. waste of time imo

You open the thread, see there are no acts that interest you. It is a forum, so you post your opinion?
I opened this thread knowing I have a negative opinion of Coachella, but didn't post my opinion because I already have in the past. But was still curious to see the line up. No Hendrix, Zeppelin or Beatles. I'm not going -
Idk about Detox dropping right before but there is no doubt this is more of the promotion plan that I've been seeing for it as of late. Maybe they perform the 1st single off it or something and the shit drops on 4/20? Yehhhhh buddy
