    Vanderbilt, my alma mater, has earned the #1 overall seed in the tournament. I'm going to go ahead and call our shot today. We have the best pitcher in the country (David Price), the best overall hitter in the country (Pedro Alvarez), and the rest of the team isn't bad either. Who ya with?

    as much as it pains me to say it, Rice... shame they had to send Baylor to the Rice regional, they have owned us the last 5 years

    JUCO world series is going on right now.. my bro plays for New Mexico, also one of the hitters in the nation (for jucos that is)

    David Price is a very very very very very good pitcher, but I don't think he is the best in the country. He will go first overall because he is left handed and has sooooo much upside, but there are pitchers that have been just as good, if not better than him this season (Barry Enright, Brian Matusz, and Preston Guilmet to name a few). I don't think anyone will be able to stop Arizona State's offense this year. Also, I'll go a step further and say UCLA will win it all in 2008.
