STEELERS
ugh! -- that onsides kick turned everything around real quick,,,what a bad spot to try that -
GG Steelers. Thanks for the $$$$ Colts...again...and again...and one more time. Now just keep the game under which shouldn't be a problem.

Rough night's sleep for the 72 dolphins tonight. Colts will get er done.
-
Colts will not go undefeated...No team has done it...and some great ones have tried...

ibarrio where have you been? no team has done it? uhhhhm, ok. 72 dolphins ring a bell?

Well what team is going to beat them. They are so much better than any team they have left to play. The only way they lose a game this year is Tony sits out most of the starters once the Colts have the Divison and home field locked up. The Colts by far didn't not play there A game against the Steelers and still won fairly easily. It shows how good they are when the steelers try an on side kick to start the second half just to get get back in the game with 30 mins still left. I am not a Colts fan either. Tenn in Indy has no chance 12-0, Jags leftwich out 13-0, San Diego at home 14-0 at Seattle maybe a slight chance for an upset, but highly unlikely 15-0 and end the season at home with Arizona LOL, Colts could play there practice squad and win this game 16-0. GG Colts.

They do have a good chance at running the table yes, but I think you are either A) giving the colts too much credit or B) not giving their remaining opponents enough credit.
It would be insane to say that the colts didn't play their "A" game tonight, a 23-7 beating of the steelers isn't their A game? And the steelers are definitely not the first team to try the onside kick at start of second half, it can be a momentum changer. I personally am not in favor of it obviously, but it's worth a shot sometimes I think.
For their remaining schedule, of course tennessee and arizona are easy wins. So that leaves Jacksonville, San Diego, and Seattle. Those teams are 8-3, 7-4, and 9-2 respectively. J-ville is the only team in the AFC South to ever beat the Colts since the Texans came into the league, and they play Indy amazingly tough every single game. They only lost 10-3 this year IN Indianapolis, so I think when they are in jacksonville that the Colts will have a tough time dealing with them.
San Diego is the 4th best AFC team I think, and they will have a lot to play for. Either chasing down Denver (which seems unlikely at this point) or fighting it out for a wild card. Look out for this game.
Of the 3 tough games left, I think Seattle is the least likely to upset them. They are a good team but they really won't have anything to play for at this point, even Homefield throughout playoffs will be locked up.
So I see Indy losing 1 of those 3 games, and if I HAD to pick which one I would say @jacksonville. -
Dungy already said they will play until they have home field advantage and that is it for the starters. He said if whether it takes 16-0 or 12-4 it doesn't matter to him as long as they can secure home field advantage and keep his starters safe and fresh for the playoffs. Record will stand, no need to sweat Dolphins.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they fucking own.
F the who deys
F the remaining schedule -
how can anyone say theyre soft after last night. they were flying around the ball punishing mother fuckers.
F the bengals -
i dont get sitting your players.....there have been 39 super bowl winners but only 1 undefeated team........nuff said
-
I like the thinking, but could you imagine the hell Dungy would be put through if BY CHANCE, any of the Colts' big name players was unable to go for the playoffs because they got hurt in week 15 or 16? Imagine if they did go 16-0, but got bounced from the playoffs because their backup quarterback, ???? who the hell is the backup...lol, had to start during the playoffs??
I liked when Madden & Michaels were talking about how Manning was a "historian of the game" and that sitting him would jeopardize his consecutive games started streak ( even though he mentioned at the same time he wasn't saying Manning was selfish ) and how Manning & Dungy are both aware of the "aura" surrounding finishing up undefeated.
I'm with you oBob, I hope they decide to say "F it, we were just as apt to get hurt in weeks 1-11 as we would be 12-16....let's go for it!"
