  1. yesterday i plugged my laptop (hp tx1000z with windows 7) directly to the modem with an ethernet cable in order to get internet since the router wasnt working, and now for some reason my laptop cant find internet wirelessly, it says WLAN is disabled. the switch on the front usually says bluetooth:on and WLAN:on when i switch it on and off.

now when i switch it on and off just bluetooth part comes up and WLAN is nowhere to be seen...

i dont know how to enable WLAN, ive tried some stuff from google search but none of them have worked so far.

anyone who can help me figure this out will get stake in any $11 tourney, sng of their choice

  2. try a system restore to the day before you plugged it in
  3. Usually there is both a WLAN and Bluetooth switch. Make sure there is not more than one switch.
