So my new office just got on a regional network. When I try and get on FTP a pop up comes up and says Unappropved Operation - Security Policy Enforced
"Alert: AN unapproved or possible malicious file attempted to run on this computer. Installed security software blocked execution because a setting bans unapproved executables is in effect. "
Is there anyway I can change this and go around it.
The thing that pops us says Protection by Parity software from Bit9, Inc.
Any help would be appreciated. -
LOL, I'd read your companies policy and procedure manual.
99.999% chance that playing poker on work machines is illegal by the company by laws and that it is enforced at the regional level on your new network.
BTW - they have now already logged your attempts to get onto a poker site. They have your IP address and know who you are, and where you sit.
GL keeping that job. -
Sounds like your network has been locked down. GG

Quit trying to play while at work! Do something productive!

Do what I do. Buy a BlackBerry (or any phone you can tether) and a laptop. Tether said phone to laptop while at work and play poker = WIN.

My family owns the franchise that I work for. So I can pretty much take a shit in the middle of the office and no one is going to say anything to me. Hence why I would try and remove whatever software is now keeping me from playing.
I just manage the office so there is nothing productive for me to do. I work from 8-9 and then again from 3-4 the rest of the time I am bored off my ass.
