i tried google and am not sure of the results. it says that it is a spyware thing, and i need to download another thing to get it off my comp. anyone have any experience with this. here is a pic of what my comp is saying. thoughts?

it is called win 7 security 2012, and my mcafee antivirus was showing a trojan attempt. -
Yep, that has to be removed. Don't download anything through it as it will make things much worse.

I would just shut the computer off with the power switch. When it comes back on, it will ask if you want to start in safe mode. Answer yes and when it starts to boot up, type system restore in the start box. Restore it to the last safe point.

you have to F8. it simply doesn't ask you about safe mode...

Dont need to restore.
install and run MBAM then reboot. I'd then run tdsskiller quickly.
Then run MBAM again to make sure.
should clear it up.
