    that shit is fucking scary man. we had alarms going off when the baby's heart rate dropped also, and because of the epidural, she thought she was pushing but wasn't. the doctor ended up using some plunger looking suction thing, and had that not worked we would've been forced to have a c section. you will never feel more poweless in your entire life than watching your wife go through that.

    oh yeah and congrats...the last 8 months have been the best, although most sleep deprived months of my life

    Def. scary shit. I am not a big fan of the epidural because I felt like it slowed down the labor but than again I'm not the one who had to deal with the pain.
