LOL!!!! You'd be lucky to get an injured mendenhall for cutler. Only one of your receivers that sniffs 9-13 td's this year is jordy and I am really big on brown this year. The packers simply don't run the ball so your argument is invalid there and the only way Wilson gets that many carries is if Bradshaw dies. He may get 1/4 of them this year, maybe. As far as Vick is concerned he had two injuries in two days preseason the guy simply isn't durable enough to last a full season I'd put an o/u at 11 and take the under for games he plays. You asked for an honest opinion and you got it there is no reason to get butt hurt about you, you simply drafted a shitty team. No one has a reason to single your team out it just really is that bad.

Looks like you sacrificed rb depth for the two tightends, I am not a big fan of that.

I'd consider trading one of them for a solid rb. Why I like FJack I wouldn't want him as my number 1.
Your receiver core is serviceable as are your qbs. I'd pray Peyton stays healthy and can perform as his old self. Obv your tes are top top but trading one to add depth is something id consider. This is a strategy I considered but went against it, hope it works out for you. -
OK this was pretty unreal, I drafted this team over the phone in a 12 team league for some hooters type bar in Nashville.

It scores pretty insane too, would you believe 1 point per completion for QBs? -
Need help at wr (we play 2 and a flex). Also, I have jennings as my flex, should I consider Wallace/Maclin/Austin/Washington (whomever I don't play as my WR2)

10) Rashard Jennings
11) Jay Cutler
12) Toby Gerhart
13) Seahawks Def
14) Lawrence Tynes
15) Brian Quick
Also need WR help here. Does it even matter between Cruz, Bryant, Brown? Will be starting SJax as my flex.
1.) Aaron Rodgers
2.) Darren McFadden
3.) Jamaal Charles
4.) Steven Jackson
5.) Victor Cruz
6.) Dez Bryant

Sorry, first is PPR and second is standard.
-
I picked #2.
-
OK, finalizing lineups barring injuries between now and game time.
PPR LEAGUE
QB ELI
RB RICE
RB FORTE
WR FITZ
WR DECKER
TE PETTIGREW
WR/RB/TE D BROWN
PATS D
K HANSON
BENCH
TE FINLEY
WR MACLIN
WR MEACHEM
RB P THOMAS
QB CUTLER
WR L MOORE
WR RANDLE
NON PPR LEAGUE
QB STAFFORD
WR DECKER
WR CRUZ
RB FORTE
RB BRADSHAW
WR/TE S JOHNSON
WR/RB R JENNINGS
BENCH
WR AJ GREEN
RB REDMAN
TE FINLEY
QB LUCK
WR D MOORE
Am I over projecting Donald Brown's scoring potential? Seems like he is the clear cut RB for the Colts, and is capable of racking up a receptions in the PPR format as well. I am a little worried Maclin doesn't play a full game and that the Eagles will have a big lead quick and start grinding the running game. Am I over thinking it and just need to go with Maclin? There is a definitely an argument that that team is so sick I should just go low variance every week because that team will rape regardless.
I was really happy with Jennings in my second league until MJD announced he was back. Does that turn the tables on Jennings value enough that I should put someone else in that slot? Yes, I know he is still the starter in week 1, but still feel weird about it.
Thanks for any input. -
i think it is a possible 10 team league. 12 team is just absurd.
-
Foster went #1.
-
Is there a reason you are not starting Green mattg
-
Mattg, I don't think I would sit AJ Green even against Baltimore's D, he just has absurd talent and I would never consider playing Decker over him.
I'm a little hesitant to bite on any Denver WR though, Peyton can spread the ball around a lot so until he falls in love with someone I'm just going to consider their situation pretty much up in the air. -
I think when asking for advice on a starting lineup it would be a lot easier if everyone posted the matchups their players have.
-
Maybe I am putting too much into the preseason, but it seemed like Manning picked his guy and it's Decker.

Maybe you're right. I just think Green is a must start if healthy. He could be a top 5 WR this year. That may just be the Bengals homer in me talking tho.

What network is the Wednesday game on?
-
I think Brown is > Maclin for now, Philly's offense is a bit of a question-mark imo.

Jennings lost a lot of value with the return of MJD, MJD will probably be one of maybe 15 RBs that will get close to 80% of his teams carries.
Nice teams though, and I agree with the guy that thinks AJ Green is a must start and potential top 5 WR. -
my last draft of the year. Feel pretty good about this team. PPR, 8 teamer...QB, 3 WR's, 2 rbs, te, wr/rb/te....

im not in love with mcfadden as my first pick as he is injury prone but i was pretty sure i could get brady or brees in round 2. I wanted megatron but he went 4 so i was debating between mcfadden and forte and rolled with mcfadden. Don't ask me how Ryan Mathews fell to me in the 4th round because i dont have an answer -
Brees @ 12 and Mathews @ 28...WTF??
Edited By: JRoth15 Sep 4th, 2012 at 02:23 AM
Mathews is only slated to miss 1 game, right? Mighta taken Ronnie Brown late, but those 2 picks are absurd. -
Brees at 12 is great. If Mathews produces like he should then your RBs are good. I don't love your WR but you can't have everything. Good team if your guys can stay healthy.
Edited By: whoMikeB Sep 4th, 2012 at 02:24 AM
Still can't believe you got Brees at 12 lol
