  1. Why does he only have value in ppr leagues? He get's hella yards and is only getting better? Plus vernon davis is twice as valuable as gresham. olson almost equal to davis is laughable.

  2. Cause non ppr leagues are weighted towards tds. A receiver with 700 tds and 7 tds is close to brown. Plus, Olson gonna get over 100 targets this year.

  3. I would keep Brown and Davis regardless of league scoring, lol at thinking a broken Jennings and Gresham is a better combo.

  4. I don't know what I would do but im leaning towards saying I make the trade. I guess I don't know details though. Is Jennings hurt or something? Did I miss that. Jennings has done it for several years and is on a high powered offense. If he plays he is getting his guaranteed. Brown basically has like 8 or so games of proving he can do it. Not that I'm trying to hate on Brown. I think he could have a big year but it's not a guarantee like some of you want to make it out to be. Guys breakout all the time and you don't hear shit from them after that. Eddie Royal, Donny Avery and so on. it wouldn't be crazy to see Browns production decrease. I know for a fact though if Jennings is playing he is gonna get points. As far as the tight ends go Davis is the better player but The difference isn't that big. Gresham is underrated and going into his 3rd year which is when a lot of pass catchers explode. The gap between the two just isn't that big. They almost cancel each other out but an edge has to go to Davis right now. My mind is open for change though if I knew specifics about Jennings. Did he get a concussion the other day? I think I might recall hearing something about that. Can't remember. I just went and looked something up. In standard scoring Davis had 105 points and Gresham had 87. Gresham also missed two games . The difference just really isn't there fantasy wise. It's minimal at worst. IMO unless you're getting Gronk, Graham or even Gates. Gates not so much anymore. But unless you're getting one of those three there's no point to try and differentiate between most tight ends. Never really found it to be that important of a position. I mean of course every position has some level of importance but tight ends is way down the line only above kicker and defense. Its a position way too many reach for in fantasy football because the separation between the 5th best and the 15th best just isn't that big.

  5. In a keeper league that's ppr, need to keep two. Megatron is a no brainer. Have MJD and Forte. I'm leaning towards Forte...any help appreciated.

i like this team a lot....a few question marks at RB but if they work out youll have a great team
  8. I would pick up David Wilson just so you have Bradshaws backup if he is available. Plus, he looks like he could break out at some point this year
  9. Pretty stoked about my first draft of the year this Sunday. Got the 12th pick in a ppr league. Hoping I get Brees/Brady if either make it to me, if not I might go nuts and take Newton, and Gronk/Graham with the 13th pick. Then Im looking at likes of Lynch, S. Jackson, Bradshaw, F. Jackson, Reggie Bush to get my two RBs with the 36th, 37th picks. Might have to grab a WR with one of these picks if Cruz, Bryant, S. Smith fall to me.

*eidt* leagues also weighted for QBs with 6 points for a passing TD and 1 point for every 20 yrds passing w/ a 3 point bonus for 300 yrd games.

  10. i'd snake a big time wr with one of those picks imo
  11. was really expecting you to tell me to take Eli at 36 to fill in my bye week ;)
  12. ugh. drafting in the 5 hole of a 16 teamer, no ppr, qb 2wr 2rb 2w/r/t flex. if mccoy, foster, rice or aarod are avail at 5, thats the pick, but if not i have to choose.

    qb/wr/rb?

Most people are rolling with Brady, but I'd def take megatron at 5... tons of depth at qb and wr, but megatron is on another level, whereas other qb's might be close to brady's production.

  15. Cruz at 13? What in the? Im thinking he still might be around for 36/37.
  16. you must not be looking at many mock drafts then... no chance he's sill there at 36... but yeah 13 is prolly a reach, can get fitzgerald or someone like that... but i'd rather have cruuuuuuz

Every mock that ive done where someone goes QB, TE with the first two picks, they always end up super thin at RB. Im a 49er fan and I wont be taking Gore this year. Too many other packs to steal carries and TDs.

  21. Just finished an auction draft.

    QB - Cam - $30
    RB - CJ2k - $41
    RB - Bradshaw - $15
    WR - Julio - $35
    WR - Harvin - $20
    WR - Reggie Wayne - $10
    TE - Gonzalez/Olsen - $5 each

And still had 20% of my cash to fill out my bench (Donald Brown, Ridley, Santana Moss, Titus Young).

This is PPR so Bradshaw, Harvin, and Wayne are worth substantially more.
  22. Harvin has added value? I mean he's a stud and all, but how many games is he gonna miss this year now that he's returning kicks, how often won't he be doubled, and who the fuck is gonna get him the ball? I love Ponder (although this preseason has been nice to see), but fucking the kid needs to get his shit together.
  23. he was 8th in fantasy points last year why would he be worse this year

I did say he was a stud. I just thought $20 was a bit high... after looking at some auction draft shit I guess it's not so bad. I still dont like the fact he's returning kicks now.

Rodgers dropped to 8th? I'm curious to see how the first round went.

Also, listen to jaybone. Im in a 12 man league and I went Brady (8th) then andre Johnson 2nd round. When it got back to me the best rb available was gore so I picked up rodfy white then got gore in the 4th. Only good thing is its ppr and we play 3wr 2rb.

How do you take Andre Johnson in the second when there are probably at least 10 better receivers on the board? Not to mention you can probably still get a decent receiver in the third anyway without passing up on a rb in the second and not being stuck with Frank Gore as your number 1 rb.

10 better receivers? I understand the guy gets injured a lot but let's not be ridiculous. Please name them.
  29. Ppr league, 1 keeper. I keep cam and pick 2nd. Have info foster is going 1. Do I take....

    McCoy
    Rice
    Megatron

    Throw me some opinions.
  30. Rice or McCoy. Don't really think you can go wrong either way. Might give a slight edge to Rice but its really a coinflip imo.
