    I'm running low on contact lenses and am looking for more.

    I don't want another eye exam and it's been over a year since my prescription expired so pretty sure stores won't just sell me the contacts.

    Any suggestions?

    I was a year and a half overdue for an eye exam and decided to give 1800contacts.com a try. While they do in fact state that you need a prescription within the last year, I don't believe they actually call your doctor and check(or maybe someone at my eyedoctor office just screwed up). It's def. worth giving a shot.

    Did you just use the specs from your contact case to order the right ones?

    I always buy my contacts at Sam's Club (best prices I've found) and the only thing is that they require a doctor's prescription once a year. Not sure about how 1800-Contacts works and if there's a loophole around not having a prescription. GL though.

    idk man, i was about 1.5 yrs from my last contact exam and 1800-contacts would not sell me contacts without a recent exam. You can maybe try walmart or costco but I am pretty sure they need a recent eye exam as well.....Acuvue Oasis tho

    https://www.1-save-on-lens.com no prescription needed, and they are legit I have ordered from them at least 3 times and had them at my door within 4-5 business days tops

    I have used Wal-Mart Eye Center for the last two exams. They've been anal about having a non-expired prescription...

    everyones eyes are different obv but I have been using Acuvue Advanced w/ hydraclear for probably 5 years now, work fine for me

    make sure you get the ones you can leave in for 30 days. they are the nuts.

    I just went to the eye doctor today... they upped my pwr to -10.5 in both eyes for my contacts and -11 for my glasses. *sigh*

    I have no real advice. I've never ordered contacts online. GL anyway.

    why do you even need a prescription for contacts anyway?

    I mean, I understand why you need the right contact prescription..obv...but why do they care if you get contacts without a scrip?
    It's not a pill or drug or anything...so if you get the wrong ones it's not like they can be sued just 'cause you're stupid.

    That does not make sense to me.

    why would you not get ur presc. updated....everything is much better when you can see correctly, its not like they are gonna ass rape you after, just get them checked...

    I told u this at the Venetian brother, do yourself a favor and have lasik surgery!!!!!!!! I cannot stress enough now much greater it is then wearing contacts/glasses which I did for many years

    yea i couldnt get any without an Rx. went to wal-mart and got an exam for like 80 bucks. ordered a years supply of lenses and then about a month before expiration i ordered another years worth (though i dont go through them that fast so probably got 3 years worth)
