In honor of the Ozzy busted thread (which i obv thought he went busto) id like to hear your views on cops , and hear your stories about interactions youve had with them. good, bad, ugly, funny, w/e, post em.
i live in a nice little goverment working town in Canada called Ottawa, majority of the people are white , but there are tons of every other race out there as well. Its a pretty diverse population and racism is not a issue here.
Ive had a few cop encounters , and the cops have all been 100% good guys. Worst that has happened to me was getting ticketed for climbing buildings downtown. We were just climbing for the hell of it , and when the cops asked us why we were climbing, they could not beleive my reason, saying i was bad at lying. Cant blame them but still, they never beleived me , said '' you are lucky we didnt catch you breaking in or doing whatever you had planned on doing, then gave me the biggest fine thye could (250ish for tresspassing).
other few incidents include me going 100 in a 60 zone (km/h) on a downhill slope, getting pulled over and just getting a warning. 1 time i was smoking a joint in the park at 6pm (silly, i know) , and someoen called the cops on us. We got ticked 55$ each (we were 3 ) for ''illegal activies'' , so although that shows up on my rec, doesnt show its for drugs. THey had a talk with us, trying to reason with us not to do it and by the end confessed they didnt like doing these kinds of busts but someone had called them so they had to come investigate. They told us : smoke your weed in your house, please LoL. God Bless Canada
funny exchange we had:
cop: So son, I hope you learned your lesson.
Me: Yea, dont worry, ill be much more carefull next time.
cop : Next time? Bad answer buddy...
Me: silent
lol
bottom line: good job cops, keep up the good work ( i always tell cops this, even when thye ticket me, and im sincere about it )
Overall, im very pleased with all the cops ive dealt with, -
IMO, being a good cop doesn't mean letting people that break the law off with warnings or slaps on the wrists, good cops do their job right, with professionalism and respect

NF44, great response.
I will pass this story from a very good LE friend, this happened last week:
I call your bluff
I see a POS car going the wrong way on a highway exit ramp. Make the stop and approach the passenger side. I ask for the driver's license.
BG: " I left them at home"...hint #1
Me: "what's your social security number"
BG: I don't really have that memorized"...hint #2
Me: "What's your name"
BG: "Shawn Waters"
Me: "spell it"
BG: "Se..I mean Shan."...hint #3
Me: "date of birth"
BG: "02/02/82"
Me: "how old are you"
BG: "24"...hint #4
Me: "really...huh..my math says 25.step out"
BG: "I ain't trying to lie"..hint #5
I sit him in the backseat, cuffed, and run him
Me: "well shawn, you have an aggravated robbery warrant for your arrest"
BG: "F-that, I'm Lamar Johnson I just got a suspended license and a misdemeanor warrant"
Hey, if they can lie, so can I ..and I am better at it than they are. -
That happens a lot actually. BTW an adult who says they don't know their SSN is, in my experience, 100% a lie
-
^ Exactly man. My buddy said when he gave that response on the SSN he knew he had something on the guy, no doubts at all.
-
I would never give my SS# to anyone, including law enforcement-
-
one time i showed my cock to ess
he said it was nice -
Found another one of his:
Clocked a 103 in a 65 around 1:30 am. Cut the median like BO & LUKE, hit the lights and catch up like 3 miles later. Pull in behind him, he sticks his arm out and tries to wave me around. Couple of miles later he pulls his drunk self over in his stolen NEON (who would've thought a NEON would do 103?). He ended spending a couple of weeks in our jail before he went back to TN for the theft of the car. -
"Pull in behind him, he sticks his arm out and tries to wave me around."
HAHAHAHAHA, thats great i'll have to try that next time I'm about to get pulled over for speeding. -
Wow, that reminds me.
Was out clubbing on a saturday night, but i was the DD so i didnt drink a drop... but i did smoke some joints during th evening.
Going back home, was alone in the car after dropping off everyone. Right as im going up the hill near my house (same hill as in OP) there is a road block by cops checking for drunk drivers. BUT being high as i was i didnt understand this , and i thought there was a accident or something, so the lady cop gets in the middle of the street, flagging me to pull over ... but i thought she was waving me to go AROUND her and continue LoL So i slow down, try to go around, and then she starts waving frantically to get me to stop, and then i realize whats going on. Ooops, now im gonna get a ton of attention im thinking. blah blah blah, i do the breathalizer, obv clean. Then a guy cop comes and tells me '' your eyes are mighty red, have you been smoking anything? '' then I , acting all surprised that my eyes are red (checking my rearview to see if my eyes are really well, fully knowing im blazed out of my mind and that my eyes are blood-shot like hell. So i tell him no i havent smoked up, he tells me im lying, etc etc etc this goes on for a while, and eventually since i had nothing on me and they cant test for highness they let me go home. yay -
Friend of mine with PD got in trouble quite a few years ago he pulled a guy over walked up to window being careful without looking at guys face said
"lay some plastic on me slick"
he had pulled over assnt chief
another friend had a guy making him nervous he opened the drivers door as soon as he did guy reached for the pocket in door my friend said he made a draw that made jesse james proud sticking the gun in the guys ear said
"whatever your reaching for it better be a sandwich cause your gonna eat it"
lol i used to love cops -
oh yea, forgot about 1 incident that i dont really get....... this is written by a friend of mine:
I am writing you in regard to an important event that occurred lately. All facts are accurate.
I applied to become a police officer with the Ottawa Police Service last October and passed all tests and interviews with ease. After finishing my background check, I received a letter stating I had been declined an offer and wasn’t in the process anymore.
I asked myself why? How could this be? So many of my friends are police officers, I have family in the service, I have done many ride-alongs with the Ottawa Police and I am aware of more than 30 people that were contacted by my background officer, all positive (comments).
I am a 25-year-old male, bilingual (French and English), with Spanish knowledge and a graduate from the University of Ottawa. After graduating from university, I was offered a full scholarship to do my Masters. I’ve never had problems with the police nor the law. My driving record is perfect and I have never been in an accident. I regularly volunteer at a city gym and have been very much involved in the community.
I called the Ottawa Police to see if they could meet with me because I wanted to understand why I wasn’t in the process anymore. I demanded to know why. I met with a civilian member and a police constable and the meeting lasted less than 10 minutes. They told me I wasn’t allowed to know why, that it wasn’t necessarily the background check and that I “am just not an ideal candidate”.
I then got an answer from a relevant source that I was rejected because I, as well as five others, wrote a complaint against a civilian member at the RCMP years ago when I used to work there. We all wrote complaints because she was condescending towards others by saying sexual, ethnic and racial comments.
I asked myself can the Ottawa Police use that against me? I was honest with them and told them everything and gave them a copy of the complaint. At that time, the environment at the RCMP was poisonous and we wanted it to stop so we wrote official complaints. You would it would show nothing else but taking initiative, leadership, but apparently not.
I then applied to York Police Services and they called me to schedule an interview with me only two days after applying. But when the York Service asked me why I wasn’t in the process anymore they wanted to call the Ottawa Police Service to find out why. A few days later York Police Service cancelled my interview.
I find this a shame because I am the ideal candidate and wasn’t taken seriously because of one aspect that was done for the well being of myself and others. I wasn’t given the chance to explain myself to the police force and now I want to take this opportunity to voice this issue to you and to the community.

Ottawa -
I was driving in my friends Jeep Wrangler. I see my buddies little brother who is around 14 years old. I then proceed to throw a half empty juice box at him, just for shits and giggles because we both know each other well. Well, about 5 minutes later I get pulled over down the road because the cop was responding to a 911 call he recieved. I got Wreckless driving and littering. GG license. FUCK COPS
