    So after today's patch the World of Azeroth is forever changed...I'm pretty excited and look forward to Dec 7th. I only dread the grind to 85 on my 80's though. Although I guess it's better than 1-85.

    Anyone else excited for this? I know it's geeky and nerdy but oh well.

    What's in Patch 4.0.3a
    Sammew posted an interesting list of the features you should and should not expect in Patch 4.0.3a on the official forums. Zarhym also jumped in, and announced a 20% reduction to the XP required to gain levels from 71 to 80.

    What is not in:
    Creating worgen/goblin characters
    Worgen/Goblin start zones
    Archeology
    Professions past 450 (Illustrious Grand Master)
    Guild leveling
    Guild achievements
    Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor flight
    New Zones (80+)

    What is in:
    Portals in Dalaran/Shattrath Removed
    Class trainers in Dalaran where portals once were
    New race-class combinations (excluding worgen/goblin)
    New Gnome/Troll starting areas
    Changes to existing zones
    New cata load screens
    New cata intro cinematic
    New cata login screen
    New music
    City Quartermasters, with rep tabards
    Bug fixes
    Class balancing
    Druids, paladins, priests, and shaman will have their talent trees reset
    Experience required to gain levels 71 through 80 is being reduced by 20%
    New tamable hunter pets (Monkey, fox, dog, and beetle, as well as new skins for existing pet classes.)

    I admit. I play WoW.... <sigh> 4 80s to level to 85 :)

    I haven't logged in, in over a month, I suppose I should login today and say hello to my guildies and see what happened with today's patch...

    Seriously, I'm glad this is finally happening because the past week has been a pain in the ass with all of those elementals attacking the major cities. I hardly have time to play the game as it is, so it sucks not being able to travel, and then you ride all the way to Westfall only to find the fucking griffon dude laying there dead. Bullshit.

    A couple of weeks ago, I got an e-mail with 7 days free playtime since I haven't played in a while. I've ALMOST re-installed WoW about 5 times now. I don't need to get hooked again, but it's very tempting.

    Yes you need a password. Yes you can get it back usually takes a few days but the GMs can restore characters.

    If you guys haven't played over the past month or so, you've missed a lot of content. It was mostly a bunch of cakewalk quests but still fun. The interface has changed, too, and if you start playing again you're going to have to respec your characters.

    lmao @ that video.... yeah he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would know to ask a GM there. I play too and <3 the new intro/login screen. Soooo sick that my alt is 65 and they're reducing the xp to get to 80 to get people brought up to speed faster.

    p.s. as expected, patch is gonna take way longer to add than "scheduled". We'll be lucky to play before tomorrow :/

    As a former hardcore raider, re-learning all the trees and specs and intricacies of my class is frightening. I'd lose days upon days researching the finer points of my spell rotation.... Ugh.

    I just need to hold out till cat passes and this feeling of wanting to play again will pass.

    The only point of a guild is progression.

    An OT guild would blow, not enough people who can put it 6+ hours at a time.
