cousin involved in murder suicide

    On sunday my 2nd cousin (my moms first cousin) was shot in the head by her ex husband with the victims mother there watching. After he shot her, he pulled the gun on himself.

    I guess they were in the middle of big marriage/divorce issues, but apperently the guy came to their lake property and he wasnt supposed to be there because it was her turn and she had a restraining order on him. So when she confronted him he pulled out a gun out and he shot her. Totally fucked up situation, her mother had to watch her child die. Now there 2 kids who are 9 and 10 have to grow up without parents.
    I wasnt too close with her but I did see her when we had family christmas partys every year and she would be the one who would also start singing christmas songs. Last time I saw her was about a month ago at a funeral and she was planning to have the christmas party at her house and i got her number to give to my mom, pretty creepy that a number in my phone is dead. after watching the school board shooting video, its pretty sad how many mental ill people there are now a days, wish they coulda gotten help before they hurt or kill innocent people.

    seriously sorry for your family man. mental illness really seems to be a hugely growing problem.

    I have 3 friends who have died over the last 3 years and I wont delete them from my phone. The f'ed up thing is that the first 2 who died, their Initials were "J.C." and the last ones first name is CJ. One was a suicide and 2 were accidents. Sorry for your loss.

    FYP. Not being able to control your emotions is not a mental illness. This is just another case of a person who can't handle what's going on in their life and snapping. Some people are just mentally weak unfortunately. Agreed that it's a senseless event and shouldn't have ever happened.
