  1. The whole thing starts kinda nutz and just gets fuckin crazier, on top of that read the back story on this to see how even more ridiculous it gets afterwords.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ursula_and_Sabina_Eriksson

    from the wiki

"The twins met in Ireland before travelling to England. After their odd behaviour caused them to be left at an M6 service station, they ran on to the motorway numerous times and were struck by oncoming vehicles causing Ursula to be incapacitated. Sabina refused medical aid and attacked a police officer, at which point she was arrested. After being released by police in Stoke-on-Trent, Sabina then was taken in by a local resident whom she later killed in an unprovoked attack. She was arrested after jumping off a bridge into a busy road and later pleaded guilty to manslaughter with diminished responsibility. She was sentenced to five years imprisonment and is scheduled for release in mid 2011."

They actually were found to have no illicit substances in there system after the incident. I think it was more due to the concussion/traumatic brain injury/shock that they were able to resist like that and the other one was out running around bopping people. From someone who has learned about emergency medicine, I was cringing watching that girl get up after being hit by a car doing like 60-70MPH and being unconscious, the potential for making any spinal injury much worse was very high in that situation (one of the reasons you shouldn't move people with potential spine injuries unless you HAVE TO without having them C-Collared and spine boarded). One of the reasons I understand why the cops showed great restraint in taking her down besides the whole "WTF IS HAPPENING" shock of it all, a taser would have caused serious muscle contractions or tackling her and beating the life out her American police style could have killed her. On the other side of the argument they were endangering a lot of motorists so I could understand if it came down to it that they would do whatever it takes to restrain her even using some force.

How she got through a psych evaluation, released and than went on to kill another man and survive a 40ft drop onto a roadway trying to escape, boggles my mind.

pretty sure if you watched the bbc videos they said one of the sisters is back in the USA
  17. Yeah the one of them (the one who ran into the truck) lived in the USA for awhile and after recovering from that situation, moved back. The other one is set to be released from jail this year for manslaughter and it's mentioned in the wiki.

    here we go

"Sabina Eriksson is currently serving her sentence at Bronzefield top security prison for women and will be eligible for parole this year. Ursula Eriksson has returned to the United States and is still in touch with Sabina."
