If I'm getting cookies that are prepackaged, then I like Famous Amos hard cookies the best. Soft cookies that aren't fairly recently baked just taste cheap.
Freshly or recently baked cookies, tho? Soft ftw. I prefer a crunchy edge to the cookie, with soft goodness as you get closer to the center.
I also like Starbucks chocolate chip cookies. They're somehow soft and hard at the same time, and they're really delicious. -

Homemade soft cookies own but I hate store bought soft cookies. They seem unnaturally soft. Puts me off.
