    Should determine the champ of the NL central. Gonna be a great series, sheets is supposed to come back...this is what baseball is all about.

    note: If any OTer is a cubs season tick holder or has tickets somehow, I'd be willing to overpay for your tix to on of the games, I cant find tickets anywhere

    lolz at determine champ, like the Cards arent even a factor... guarantee you the Cards or Cubs win the division and Milwaukee finishes right at or below .500

    Cards have been playing MUCH better ball than the Brewers of late... the Brewers have collapsed, they can't even hold multiple run leads after the 7th inning

    agree with waco about the cards. don't overlook sheets coming back though, I think it could have a huuuuge impact (as could soriano).
    i haven't had any luck with tix either, but am going down for thursday night for sure and just going to scalp them, there's usually lots of buying/selling going on near the bars around the stadium (i.e. murphy's, cubby bear)

    I dont wanna drive 2+ hours and not get ticks. I'll seriously pay a semi ridiculous price for a few tix if any of you jokers have them.

    And milwaukee is a MUCH more talented team, and have a better record than st louis. Lay off the pipe waco. Momentum is not everything. Baseball is a marathon. See: last year, cards holding off houston at the end.

    they have been pitching much better in the last month+, and hitting... just playing a lot better ball in general than Milwaukee

    actually, the whole "it's a marathon not a sprint" is the exact reason the Brewers are falling off when they are and the Cards are surging...

    seriously mantis, I dont like any of these teams, but I watch them all play... you are coming across as a moronic homer here, period

    And the Reds are playing even better than them. If they go 5-1/4-2 vs the cubs and brewers rest of the season, it could get interesting!

    Nah, not really. Cardinals cant pitch for shit. They're under .500 thru 125 games for a reason, they're dogshit. Whoever wins the NL central will basically win it by default, I just think it's ignorant to say that you guarantee milwaukee won't win it, when they're 1.5 games back, and their franchise player returns from injury this week.

    I live less than a mile from wrigley and always go to games, but don't get my tickets until a day or two from the game, sometimes day of. Check ebay for the best price, or stubhub.com if you want premium seats for higher price. Otherwise, scalpers and brokers on Clark are a dime a dozen.

    dude you cant look at the whole 125 games, all it matters is how they are playing down the stretch... any baseball fan worth his salt can agree with that, jeez

    it's not even an opinion that the Brewers have fallen apart and the Cards are surging, the proof is there in the numbers...

    you keep saying the Cards have terrible pitching (it's not that bad, or good), but ignore the fact that they are pitching much better down the stretch and have the same exact ERA for the season as the Brewers

    pitching > all, and the Brewers are atrocious right now while the Cubs are goot and the Cards are decent

    the Cards bullpen gives them a distinct advantage over the Brewers
