    So I am moving to The Colony(Dallas Area) in a couple weeks. I am moving into a place called Austin Ranch, it has like 6 pools and it is a massive resort style complex with bars and all kinds of other shit in the complex. However, I am seeing if anybody in the area knows any spots around The Colony, Plano, Frisco area that are a must. Can be food, bars, good cheap golf, or anything really that is a must do for after I move. Anything I should look out for would be cool too.

    Addison is good, lots of restaurants and stuff. Good golf all over the metroplex, try alot and find one that fits you. If you want alot of bars you can hit up Deep Ellum, place can get kinda sketchy tho. Lots of places in Arlington and Fort Worth too. Grapvine is also a good spot, lots of golf there too.

    I live in Plano, your going to love Austin ranch by FAR the best place to live in the area.

    I would just tell people you live in Plano, as Austin Ranch is right on the border, and about a mile from where I live. It's really more of a west Plano location than The Colony, even though it's a Colony address.

    Both bars there at Austin ranch are pretty good, and you will mostly hang out there I would imagine. Other spots include Addison (as mentioned), Shops at Legacy (close to you, check out Gordon Biersch Brewery), and Stonebriar in Frisco.

    Lots of golf, and much of it reasonably priced.

    haha, yeah that's true, say Austin Ranch... but my point was, don't say The Colony! Austin Ranch is not in the main area of The Colony which is north of 121....

    HAHA. Ok I will say Austin Ranch from now on. I have been to the Shops on Legacy once. It was pretty cool, we just hung out at the fox sports bar for a while. Good to here the bars that are actually on the complex are good. I here the infinity pool is supposed to be pretty fun too.
