Who do you think will win tonight? series?
Who do you want to win tonight? series?
Will the winner of the series beat Chicago? Miami?
My thoughts are that Dallas will win the first at home, although I want Oklahoma to win tonight and the series.
The winner of the series should beat Chicago or Miami unless Dallas/OK goes 7 games & Chicago (which i think will win that series) wins it in 4. -
Them's a whole lotta questions right there. What say you go make me a sammich whilst I figure out the answers.
-
Pretty sure Jesus wins.
-
I hope to God that this doesn't become our thread for the Dallas/OKC series.

Best HelenRnurse thread ever? By a longshot!!!

I expect Dallas to win tonight, but I think OKC has a very legit shot at winning the series. Who is going to guard Westbrook and Durant on Dallas?
I'm picking OKC to win the series in 6 or 7 games... and I'm going to stick with my Thunder Bulls prediction from the beginning of the postseason. Can't wait for this series, best combination of conference finals in years... both series are winnable for either team, and there is no true favorite going into the finals for the first time in, well, ever. Let's do this!!!
Right now I think whoever wins the west is the favorite in the finals, although the Chicago defense/ regular season record and Miami star power will make the vegas odds favor the eastern conference winner.
I disagree, just makes it the series and sweat thread that much more awesome!!! -
Will be at the game tonight, Die hard Bulls fan here, so hoping Dallas wins so I can watch the Bulls clinch the title in this town.

I expect Dallas to win this series pretty easily. They were clicking on all cylinders last series and I see the same happening here. The only concern has to be the layoff, will it take away their flow they had going, but at the same time, how will enduring a 7 gamer affect OKC. Bulls in 5 no matter who they play in the Finals.

maybe 5 -
GO get u some Helenrnurse! U don't have to take this crap! Who does God want to win ? I say the Mavs but I think they come out flat tonight with the long layoff and OKC takes gm1 and Dallas wins this thing in 7
U saw -200 /+170? -
I'm 0-6 picking nba playoffs this year so I'm gonna try to continue the streak.
I think OKC is gonna beat +6 so I'll take dallas minus the points. -
Seeming as the Perkins trade was made with the Lakers' frontcourt in mind, coupled with the fact he got 4 and 34, early returns show that trade as a rare Thunder player transaction fail.

If they insist on playing him 30+ mpg this series they'll be in trouble (unless Westbrook godmodes like I think everyone thinks he will).
PS...is this the one draft lottery where you don't wanna waste your run good and save it for the next 2 to three drafts after this one? Yes IME
O/U on Defensive 3 second calls on Dallas tonight?
going with 6.5
C'mon ptownbrad. Embrace the legend and get back to posting epicness. -
If someone said this about the Oilers leaving Houston I would come off as 'bitter' and 'unforgiving'.

Who made the last 3 NBA Finals, and who won them? Some old ass teams that's who.Originally Posted by AMARTIN1181

Dallas Mavericks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Series price: Mavericks -220, Thunder +170

money ain't got no owner
HelenRnurse > official bullshit imo yo
Lakers ain't that old... not saying Dallas won't win, I'm just goin with the Thunderstrucks -
Getcha some!!!! We would 'no juice' a friendly bet anyway. I wouldn't bet vs the Mavs, MFFL, etcetc.
A fan, with the tormented past that comes with being a Maverick fan, can harbour ill-begotten memories from a series as far back as 1987, they are free to seek revenge in any form necessary to exercise those demons.Originally Posted by marinersheep
I disagree that this series should have any correlation to 1987. I don't think it does. The Thunder are not the Sonics; there is nothing in common between a 2011 OKC team and 1987 Seattle team apart from the NBA technically keeping us in the same record books. Any sense of revenge, to me, would be fabricated.
Basically, Mavs fans that lasted from the Harper/Blackman/Fat lever era to now deserve to gleam any glory possible. -
I got a lot of action already, have Mavs at 20:1 to win NBA Championship, from a bet in December, then I've got some vs Futon & Blackout, Mavs vs Bulls to make the Finals and win it all... we made that bet in Feb, when both Mavs and Bulls were the 3rd favorites in each of their respective conferences to make the Finals, heh...

I was a fan during college in the glory years, with Harper, Blackman, Aguirre, et al... and through the Fat Lever years and painful times of the 90s. Had season tickets Dirk's 2nd year, when Reunion was about half-full, Justin Leonard's seats were the row in front of ours and he came pretty frequently to the games. -
Let it ride!!! ?
So much this. It would be cool, IME, to see JKidd lift the golden net with the golden ball on top. Mos' Definitely.Originally Posted by marinersheep

His team isn't getting any younger, either. Their window to win a title isn't exactly open. Contrarily, Durant and this Thunder team have at least a few years ahead of them to reach the top. I think it would be really cool to see Dirk get it done.
But damn, I love this Thunder team, and I love the OKC fans. I'm curious to see who I end up rooting for.
